  • Publication number: 20070289728
Abstract: A heat exchanger has tubes stacked in a direction and constructed of plate members. Each tube includes a main part for defining a passage of an internal fluid therein and a joined part that is provided by joining portions of the plate member to have surface contact. The joined part projects from an upstream end of the main part with respect to a flow of an external fluid. Abstract: A tube for exchanging heat between inside fluid and outside fluid includes a uniform cross-section portion. The outside fluid flows in an outside passage meanderingly extending in an outside fluid flowing direction. The uniform cross-section portion is disposed at least at each end of the tube longitudinal direction, and has an inside passage and a joint. The inside passage is constructed with a first inner face and a second inner face, which are spaced from each other, and the inside fluid flows through the inside passage. The joint is constructed with the first inner face and the second inner face, which are connected to each other to increase a pressure-resistant strength.

  • Publication number: 20070219531
Abstract: A suction fluid collector includes a transparent reservoir made of a resilient material with an upper opening positioned on one side of a flexible suction bag with at least one transparent side. A plate part made of a resilient material is positioned on another side of the suction bag opposite said reservoir. An urging means arranged between the reservoir and the plate part provides a force tending to expand a gap between the reservoir and the plate part. • Publication number: 20070186585
Abstract: An oval-cut diamond comprises a girdle having a contour line in an oval or oval-like shape, a crown above the girdle having an octagonal table facet on a top of it and a pavilion below the girdle. The girdle is of a ratio (b/a) of a short radius to a long radius of 0.6 or more, in which a radius in long axis direction is “a”, and a radius in short axis direction is “b”. A pair of pavilion main facets positioned opposite to each other with respect to a central axis has a pair of crown main facets or star facets facing the pair of pavilion main facets through the girdle. The two pavilion main facets, the two crown main facets or star facets and the table facet have a common vertical plane within the facets so that brilliancy of reflection lights coming out of the table facet and crown facets is enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20070186586
Abstract: An oval-cut diamond comprises a girdle having a contour line in an oval or oval-like shape, a crown above the girdle having an octagonal table facet on a top of it and a pavilion below the girdle. That is a modified oval brilliant cut diamond, in which one of the crown and the pavilion is rotated by about a sixteenth revolution around its central axis from an ordinary brilliant cut diamond. The girdle is of a ratio (b/a) of a short radius to a long radius of 0.6 or more, in which a radius in long axis direction is “a”, and a radius in short axis direction is “b”. A pair of pavilion main facets positioned opposite to each other with respect to the central axis has a pair of crown main facets or star facets facing the pair of pavilion main facets through the girdle. • Patent number: 7238777
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an agent for specific adsorption of type 5 adenoviral vector to undifferentiated blood cells which enables infection with a viral concentration that does not impart toxicity to undifferentiated blood cells, without requiring the construction of a new viral genome, or special modification of viral particles such as biotination, etc. The above objective has been achieved by providing a polypeptide which has affinity for both adenovirus and undifferentiated blood cells. Use of the polypeptide of the present invention enables improved efficiency of adenoviral vector-mediated gene transfer of any gene to undifferentiated blood cells, and there is provided a method of introducing any gene for which transient expression in these cells is desired. In particular, the method is useful for intracellular DNA recombination by transiently expressing site-specific recombinase, and for induction into any cells of different lines by transient expression of master genes.

  • Patent number: 7111664
Abstract: A molding device includes a lower mold unit and an upper mold unit. A molding cavity is defined between the mold units. The lower mold unit has a storing chamber connected to the molding cavity. The upper mold unit has a damper chamber connected to the molding cavity. A pressurizing rod is inserted into the damper chamber. The pressurizing rod is actuated by a cylinder. When a pushing rod pushes molten metal in the storing chamber to the cavity, an excess amount of the molten metal enters the damper chamber. Therefore, the molding operation is reliably performed even if an excessive amount of molten metal is injected into the storing chamber. Further, the pressurizing rod pressurizes the excess amount of metal in the damper chamber.

  • Patent number: 7011137
Abstract: The molding device comprises a lower mold unit and an upper mold unit. When the upper mold unit approaches the lower mold unit, a molding cavity is defined between the lower and upper mold units. The lower mold unit has a storing chamber that is communicated with the molding cavity. The lower mold unit comprises a pressure-decreasing mechanism and a pushing mechanism. A molten material is stored in the storing chamber. When the molding cavity is formed between the lower mold unit and the upper mold unit, the pressure-decreasing mechanism decreases pressure in the molding cavity. Afterwards, in sync with the operation that the upper mold unit pushing down a lower mold-holding member of the lower mold unit, an injection rod of the pushing mechanism pushes out the molten material in the storing chamber to the molding cavity. As a result, the efficiency of the molding operation is improved.
