  • Patent number: 5520857
Abstract: A liquid agent evaporator includes a sealed container accommodating a liquid agent therein and having a generally flat upper internal face and a vapor outlet, a carrier gas feeder for feeding the carrier gas into the sealed container, and a carrier gas blower provided in the upper internal surface of the sealed container for blowing the carrier gas fed from the carrier gas feeder so that the blown carrier gas comes into contact with substantially the entirety of the upper internal surface of the sealed container. The carrier gas blower is provided, for example, at the center of the upper internal surface of the sealed container and blows the carrier gas radially at an initial velocity directed at least to the upper internal surface side of the sealed container. The carrier gas blower can include a gas blow tube which is communicated with a gas feed tube and has a plurality of gas outlets formed on the top face side of the gas blow tube.

  • Patent number: 5495792
Abstract: Disclosed is a double piston rod type hydraulic cylinder having a pair of pressure chambers containing piston rods that reciprocate in response to changes of the pressure of hydraulic fluid contained in both pressure chambers. This hydraulic cylinder is used in, for example, a rear axle steering cylinder for industrial vehicles utilizing hydraulic power steering. Bushings are provided between the piston rod and a pair of rod guides that permit the sliding of the piston rod. Oil grooves are formed in the inner surfaces of the rod guide to connect oil inlet ports to the pressure chambers.

  • Patent number: 5333701
Abstract: The present invention provides an instrument panel suitable for use on an industrial vehicle such as a forklift truck and excellent in noise insulating characteristics, switch configuration characteristics, safety and maintenance facility. The instrument panel is disposed in front of a driver's seat, made of a synthetic resin and arranged to have a switch portion with a variety of switches and a cylinder cover for covering a portion of a tilt cylinder with protrusively facing the driver's seat. A noise insulating seal member is interposed between the lower end surface of the instrument panel and the toe board.

  • Patent number: 5112437
Abstract: In oxide film removing equipment for removing a SiO.sub.2 film on a semiconductor substrate by using hydrogen fluoride, a liquid mixture of hydrogen fluoride and methyl alcohol is prepared in a chemical factory beforehand. The liquid mixture of hydrogen fluoride and methyl alcohol is heated to generate azeotropic vapor at a semiconductor works and the vapor is used to remove the SiO.sub.2 film on the substrate. The liquid mixture of hydrogen fluoride and methyl alcohol previously prepared in the chemical factory increases safety during an operation at the semiconductor works.

  • Patent number: 5022961
Abstract: A method for removing a film on a silicon layer formed on a surface of a substrate includes the steps of: (a) placing a substrate in a reaction chamber to be isolated hermetically from the outside air, and (b) feeding anhydrous hydrogen fluoride and alcohol simultaneously into the reaction chamber. Preferably, the method further includes the step of feeding only alcohol into the reaction chamber prior to and/or subsequent to the step (b). An alcohol layer is formed on the substrate surface, whereby the film can be removed uniformly by anhydrous hydrogen fluoride. A by-product of the reaction is taken out from the system of reaction by means of the alcohol on the substrate. No by-product remains on the substrate after the reaction. Since the silicon layer after the reaction is covered with alcohol, re-growth of a native oxide film thereon is also suppressed and on ionic contamination such as fluorine remains on the substrate surface.

  • Patent number: 4877909
Abstract: A process for reducing an aldehyde or ketone in the presence of a stable, highly active catalyst which is insoluble in a solvent and which can be recovered easily from the reaction system after completion of the reaction and used repeatedly, characterized in that an aldehyde or ketone having a carbonyl group is reacted with an alcohol in the presence of hydrous zirconium oxide as the catalyst.

  • Patent number: 4846499
Abstract: Devices for supporting an LPG tank bracket between overhead guard rear pillars of an LPG fork lift. Each supporting device comprises a mounting member which is removably mounted around the rear pillar and a member for supporting one end of the tank bracket, the supporting member being welded on the mounting member. Therefore, the LPG tank bracket can be supported between the pillars, even if the rear pillars are not specially designed for an LPG fork lift.

  • Patent number: 4840417
Abstract: A movable yoke-type lifting magnet device including a main core wound with a coil and at least one yoke magnetically coupled to the core. The movable mechanism of the yoke enables the yoke to freely follow the contour of a workpiece to be lifted. An auxiliary core may be provided between each said at least one yoke to provide a yoke-type lifting magnet device. The auxiliary core greatly increases the magnetic forces induced between the cores and the yoke. Combination of the magnetic coupling between the yokes and the core and the provision of the auxiliary core provides a movable yoke-type lifitng magnet device wherein the yoke can freely follow the contour of a workpiece and the magnetic forces between the cores and the yoke are greatly increased. Such a combination prevents the yoke from slipping relative to the cores and stable lifting is possible.
