  • Patent number: 5151051
Abstract: A panel mounted electrical connector includes a plastic housing with flexible latches that are driven inwardly as the connector is forced into an aperture in a panel and spring outwardly to engage the edge of the panel aperture to hold the connector in place. The latches include interior recesses containing surfaces engaged by an integral stop contained entirely within the profile of the recesses to limit bending of the latches and resulting failure caused by pulling loads applied to the connector. The latches and stops have a configuration facilitating the provision of applying a sealing member onto the panel and the connector.

  • Patent number: 4947638
Abstract: A steel cord for reinforcing rubber is made by twisting a plurality of strands each made by twisting a plurality of element wires. The cord and the strands are twisted in the same direction. The product of the twisting ratio of the cord and that of the strands, the elongation coefficient of the cord and other factors are determined so that the rubber penetration and the rigidity and tenacity of the cord will be suitable for the carcass cord of steel radial tire.
