  • Publication number: 20180016961
Abstract: A basic regeneration completion pressure difference value is set based on a predicted deposition amount of incombustible deposits produced steadily on a particulate filter, and a corrected regeneration completion pressure difference value higher than the basic regeneration completion pressure difference value is set based on a deposition amount of incombustible deposits deposited unsteadily on the particulate filter. After regeneration processing starts, when a time for which a pressure difference value is maintained to be equal to or greater than the basic regeneration completion pressure difference value after decreasing to the corrected regeneration completion pressure difference value exceeds a prescribed regeneration completion time, the regeneration processing ends.

  • Publication number: 20170159584
Abstract: A control device determines an operation amount of an actuator that regulates an intake air amount, on the basis of operation conditions of an internal combustion engine. The control device is configured to calculate an index value of a piston temperature of the internal combustion engine, and correct the operation amount to an operation amount that increases the intake air amount, when the calculated index value is a value corresponding to a higher temperature of the piston temperature than a threshold value of the index value corresponding to an upper limit threshold value of the piston temperature, at a time of deceleration in which an engine speed of the internal combustion engine decreases. As the index value, for example, the piston temperature which is estimated from a deviation between an inputted heat amount and a heat release amount of a piston can be used.

  • Publication number: 20160377020
Abstract: A control apparatus is provided, which controls combustion state such that the Heat Release Rate Barycentric Position (Gc) coincides with the Target Barycentric Position (Gc*), and which can prevent an increase in the combustion noise caused by an increase in an ignition lag which occurs in a case where an EGR apparatus is in execution, and, a rotational speed is low or an engine load is low. The control apparatus (ECU70) prevents the increase in the ignition lag by increasing a supercharging pressure of a supercharger (44) which the engine (10) is equipped with, thus, it prevents the increase in the combustion noise.

  • Publication number: 20160305356
Abstract: A control apparatus includes a control member performing a center position control to align a specific crank angle of an engine with EGR system, which angle is called as center position, with a reference position when the engine is driven under a predetermined range. The center position is a geometric center of a figure defined by a transition of heat generation ratio through fuel combustion. The control member runs an ignition acceleration procedure when the engine satisfies at least one of specific conditions during an exhaust gas recirculation under the center position control. The ignition acceleration procedure is to inject more fuel for a pilot injection than a base amount determined in accordance with the center position control. The specific conditions includes: a condition that an engine load is smaller than a threshold value; and a condition that an engine rotational speed is smaller than a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 9464731
Abstract: A pressure reducing valve comprises an open-close valve and a piston. The open-close valve makes switching between connecting and isolating a primary port and a secondary port. The piston makes sliding motion inside the cylinder according to a difference between force applied from the pressure regulating chamber and force applied from the pressure reducing chamber, thereby opening and closing the open-close valve. The open-close valve includes a valve stem and a valve seat fixing member. The valve seat fixing member restrains displacement of the piston toward a side upstream of the open-close valve by abutting on an end surface of the piston. The valve seat fixing member includes a channel hole communicatively connecting a housing part for the valve stem and the pressure reducing chamber.

A piston 10 includes a cavity portion 20 and a tapered portion 26 that is formed so as to surround the cavity portion 20 on an outer side thereof. The diameter of the tapered portion 26 decreases progressively in the downward direction from the top face side of the piston. A squish portion 28 is formed on an outer side of the tapered portion 26. An anodic oxide film 30 is formed on a surface (tapered face) of the tapered portion 26 and a surface (squish face) of the squish portion 28. • Publication number: 20160230689
Abstract: The invention relates to a control apparatus of an engine. The apparatus carries out a minute-injection for injecting a minute amount of a fuel so as not to generate an engine torque when a required engine load is zero. The apparatus calculates at least one coefficient for correcting a heat release gravity position calculated when the minute-injection is carried out such that it corresponds to its base position and/or for correcting a heat release rate corresponding the gravity position calculated when the minute-injection is carried out such that it corresponds to its base rate. When the required engine load is larger than zero, the apparatus controls the gravity position corrected by the coefficient to its target position.

  • Patent number: 9400506
Abstract: A pressure reducer includes a piston slidably accommodated in a cylinder to define a decompression chamber and a pressure adjusting chamber. A seal member includes an elastic member and a sliding portion. The sliding portion is pressed by the elastic member such that the sliding portion slides on an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. An annular member is located on an outer circumferential surface of the piston and between the seal member and the pressure adjusting surface. The annular member is pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder with a force that is less than a force with which the sliding portion is pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. Thus, the pressure reducer prevents the piston from being moved by an excessive amount with highly accurately adjusting pressure.
