  • Publication number: 20170121074
Abstract: An example lid assembly can include a lid and a slider. The lid can include a wall defining a recess. The slider can be configured to slide in the recess and can be configured to move between a closed position where the slider covers the opening to aid in preventing spilling of contents of the container and an opened position where the slider uncovers the opening such that the contents of the container can be consumed. The slider can be configured to be removable from the lid and can be replaced back on the lid. Additionally, the slider can be configured to lock into place on the recess in both the closed position and the opened position.

  • Publication number: 20170126689
Abstract: A shared access user appliance having a client component; a server component; interactive user components providing functions to a first user; an interactive access management component allowing the first user to select second users, and select whether to grant or deny access to the user components for the second users; and a control component generating access control data and granting or denying access to the user components for the second users. The server component generates an appliance graphical user interface representing an interactive user environment including independently selectable graphical objects. Selecting each graphical object causes the server to modify the appliance graphical user interface to include the graphical user interface of the interactive user component. The server component receives requests from other users and sends a graphical user interface of the interactive user component for display only if the access data indicates the first user has allowed the second user access.

  • Publication number: 20170123666
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing programming schedules of programming host data and maintenance operations in a non-volatile memory are disclosed. Foreground maintenance schedule cycles combining host data programming and maintenance operations are described to balance free space generation and consumption in a given non-volatile memory die of a memory system. A memory system may include non-volatile memory and a controller configured to execute one or more of the steps of selecting a non-volatile memory die in the non-volatile memory, identifying a foreground maintenance schedule type based on the selected die status, and selecting a source block in the selected die for executing the selected maintenance schedule type. The memory system interleaves the moving of valid data from the source block with host data writes to achieve a balance of free space generation and consumption.

  • Publication number: 20170122280
Abstract: A fuel injector (1) is provided which comprises a valve member (11), a valve member guide (12) and a spring chamber (40). Discharge of fuel out of a fuel injector outlet (21) is controlled by movement of the valve member (11) within a bore (23) of the valve member guide (12). The spring chamber (40) contains a biasing member (50), for example a compression spring, which biases the valve member (11) into contact with a valve seat (20) when in a closed configuration. A fuel supply passage (80) is provided, which by-passes the spring chamber (40), to direct a flow of the fuel to an outlet chamber (22) of the fuel injector (1) and a cleaning fluid supply passage (90) is provided to supply a pressurised cleaning fluid to a second end (25) of the bore (23) to restrict leakage of the fuel from the outlet chamber (22) towards the second end (25) of the bore (23) along a clearance (29) extending between the valve member (11) and the valve member guide (12).

  • Publication number: 20170118945
Abstract: A waste cartridge in combination with a waste machine or apparatus that maintains waste pads for a pet owner, automatically or manually by removing and sealing soiled pads and waste and then replacing the soiled pad with a clean pad on a pet bed of the machine. The apparatus senses when a pet is using a waste pad portion and when the pet is finished, the machine takes up the soiled portion of the pad and removes and seals the soiled portion of the pad roll and the waste automatically, moving the pad into a repository for later removal and disposal of the waste cartridge when the pad roll is used up and then replacing removed pad with a new waste cartridge. The waste cartridge is comprised of a pad roll and a take-up rod attached to one end of the pad by any means such as a clip, slot or adhesive on the take-up rod.

  • Publication number: 20170119205
Abstract: A water filter assembly for a beverage dispenser. The water filter assembly may generally include a one-way valve disposed in the filter housing to allow air and water to escape so that the filter cartridge may be completely saturated. The one-way valve prevents air and water from entering the filter housing from the reservoir, thereby maintaining a vacuum that prevents the water level in the filter housing from dropping along with the water level of the reservoir. Furthermore, a protective screen is placed upstream of the one-way valve to prevent the sealing surface of the valve from becoming contaminated with debris or other sediment. In this manner, the one-way valve may maintain proper sealing performance throughout the lifetime of the filter.
