  • Publication number: 20160012015
Abstract: A tablet based application provides a reporting and analytic tool for increasing data liquidity for quick and complete access allows query and analytic reporting using a screen form modeled after the paper form or other templated data arrangement used to enter the data. Users need not learn a new interface or form structure, but specify query data from the same format upon which the data was entered, facilitating association by visual cues from the form layout and arrangement of fields. Users generate custom, or ad-hoc reports by accumulating a set or reporting fields by visual selection and clicking on the form image representing the entry of the data sought, and multiple forms may be included in the same analytic or query request to focus on specific data items.

  • Publication number: 20160012807
Abstract: System, apparatus and method for determining semantic information from audio, where incoming audio is sampled and processed to extract audio features, including temporal, spectral, harmonic and rhythmic features. The extracted audio features are compared to stored audio templates that include ranges and/or values for certain features and are tagged for specific ranges and/or values. The semantic information may be associated with audio codes to determine changing characteristics of identified media during a time period.

  • Publication number: 20160010142
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for analysis of carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption into a liquid enhanced by the presence of a compound that accelerates the absorption reaction resulting in a more rapid pH change in the liquid than in the absence of the compound. The present invention also relates to catalyst solutions comprising a carbonic anhydrase and a buffer effective in enhancing CO2 absorption. The present invention further relates to improved compositions and methods for carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption using a zinc additive.

  • Publication number: 20160008745
Abstract: The invention provides a sequential centrifuge for centrifuging discrete samples. Methods of more efficiently centrifuging discrete samples sequentially are also provided. The apparatus and methods for sequentially centrifuging discrete samples provide improved operating efficiencies over conventional batch centrifuges. Such advantages include reducing dwell time, increasing system throughput, reducing sample processing system footprint, and improving precision of the analytical process. The sequential centrifuge further provides the capability of handling critical samples without compromising the operating efficiencies achieved in centrifuging discrete samples in a sequential manner.
