    Abstract: An automated beverage machine for vending of hot, cool and cold beverages including coffee, tea, chocolate, flavoured beverages, milk beverages and cold/iced beverages is shown in FIG. 1 at 100. The machine provides improved utility, with simplified on-site installation, sophisticated power management, content and machine condition sensing and highly automated cleaning and waste disposal requiring minimal operator intervention. A fully modular system using modules 110 allows minimisation of repair downtime, as both predictive and reactive maintenance can be instituted by removal and replacement of the designated module 110. The modular nature extends to the user interface provided on the front of the device which can be interchangeable allowing different “skins” to be presented. Optional automated and simplified cleaning allows minimal maintenance, and a highly automated and self cleaning internal waste removal system additionally reduces any downtime and user intervention requirements.

    Abstract: A ladder system is disclosed which allows for stabilizing a ladder on multiple surfaces without the need for a second person or a great deal of setup time. The collapsible ladder system includes a larger ladder section and a smaller ladder strut section which are pivotally connected at a point which is at or below the midpoint of the larger ladder section. The larger ladder section and smaller ladder strut section are connected by a rigid adjustable linkage, or spreader, at a point that is below the pivotable connection. The ladder further includes a means for stability on a variety of surfaces. At the ground contact point, the point where the ladder side rail ends and the ground meet, there are adjustable gripping feet, which can be independently or in combination vertically or angularly adjusted for maximum stability.

A matrix stripping apparatus comprises a rotating cylinder for receiving a web of cut adhesive labels, a source for applying an electrostatic charge to the web of cut adhesive labels, and a separation member to facilitate separation of the matrix from a web comprising cut labels and a release liner. Applying an electrostatic charge to the web assists in holding the web against the rotating cylinder and relieves tension in the separation and removal of the matrix material.
