  • Publication number: 20130035016
Abstract: A process for removing hazardous substances from a LCD display (1) includes incision through off set lines (10) around the front of the panel (3). Top components are then removed to expose the fluorescent tubes (5) which contain hazardous substances. The incisions are parallel to the recessed lips, at a distance in the range of 0 to 20 mm from the recessed lips. The cuts are to a depth of 20 mm to 50 mm. Preferably, at least two incisions are made simultaneously. The fluorescent tubes (5) are crushed after the access operation, by rollers, chains or by plates. During crushing there is suction of the particles and gases which are released, thereby removing the hazardous substances by filtration.

  • Publication number: 20120269195
Abstract: A method of operating a data network may include establishing a data path through the data network between a routing gateway and service provider equipment providing a data service. Moreover, the data service may be provided for use at the routing gateway over the data path during a data session. A request may be received from the service provider equipment where the request defines a data flow characteristic for the data path between the routing gateway and the service provider equipment providing the data service. The data flow characteristic may then be transmitted to a network element along the data path between the routing gateway and the service provider equipment. A request from service provider equipment can include an allowed bandwidth or prioritization. Related methods, data networks, data service providers, routing gateways, and computer program products are also discussed.

  • Patent number: 8174970
Abstract: A method of operating a data network may include establishing a data path through the data network between a routing gateway for a subscriber of the data network and a service provider providing a data service. Moreover, the data service may be provided for use at the routing gateway over the data path during a data session. A request may be received from the service provider wherein the request defines a data flow characteristic for the data path between the routing gateway and the service provider providing the data service during the data session. The data flow characteristic may then be transmitted to a node along the data path between the routing gateway and the service provider for enforcement of the data flow characteristic for the data path at the node. More particularly, the data session may be a point-to-point protocol data session. Related methods, data networks, data service providers, routing gateways, and computer program products are also discussed.

  • Publication number: 20110082205
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an oral dosage form comprising a gel capsule comprising, (a) plasticizer; (b) gelatin; (c) water; and (d) greater than 850 mg DHA ethyl ester, wherein less than about 2% (wt/wt) of the total fatty acid content of the dosage form is EPA, wherein the total weight of the capsule is about 1 g and wherein the capsule is stable at about 25° C. at 60% relative humidity.
