  • Patent number: 9839417
Abstract: A deployment instrument for deploying a closure device for sealing a percutaneous puncture in a wall of a body passageway, the deployment instrument including a carrier assembly, wherein the carrier assembly is configured to hold the closure device in a pre-deployment state, and a tensioner assembly, wherein the filament is fixedly attached to the tensioner assembly, wherein the deployment instrument is configured to increase the tension in the filament upon linear movement of the deployment instrument away from the wall of the body passageway when the closure device is anchored to the wall via the anchor such that the tension is gradually increased as the deployment instrument is moved between a first linear distance and a second linear distance greater than the first linear distance from the wall of the body passageway.

  • Publication number: 20170274956
Abstract: A blow molded toy cycle has a female bearing area with tapered and recess sections. A fork has a corresponding male bearing area that includes a tapered section and an annular protrusion section. A protrusion spaced at a distance from the annular protrusion extends from the shaft and has a surface to contact a top surface of the body to secure the fork when the male and female bearing areas are in contact. The fork has integrally formed tabs that to bend around an axle to form a bearing area for the axle that allows the axle to rotate within the fork. A blow molded pedal attaches to a section of the axle and has a series of ribs disposed between side sections to form a bearing area that allows the pedal to rotate around the axle. Two rear and one front wheels attach to the body and fork respectively.

  • Publication number: 20160258310
Abstract: A turbine secondary air system seal arrangement (62). The arrangement comprises a first seal land (70) facing radially inwardly; a second seal land (80) facing radially outwardly; and first labyrinth seal teeth (76) directed radially outwardly to seal against the first seal land (70). Also second labyrinth seal teeth (78) directed radially inwardly to seal against the second seal land (80). The first seal land (70) is configured to move radially relative to the second seal land (80) or the first seal teeth (76) are configured to move radially relatively to the second seal teeth (78) to accommodate differential movement of the lands (70, 80) and teeth (76, 78) during use of the seal arrangement (62).

  • Patent number: 9378360
Abstract: Hostile attacks against a computer program are prevented when the program is executed in a computing environment that is controlled by the attacker. A preposition is run in a secure computing environment instead of the original call site, i.e. the IF antecedent, which has a TRUE consequence and a FALSE consequence are run in a secure computing environment. Embodiments of the invention also allow an insecure call site to detect modifications by a hostile attacker surreptitiously. In embodiments of the invention, a script is generated by a script generator from the IF antecedent and TRUE and FALSE consequence source code, for example relative to a call site. The original source code is modified to call the script engine, rather than the preposition. At run-time a script engine executes this script.

  • Patent number: 8685059
Abstract: A closure device for sealing a percutaneous puncture in a wall of a body passageway of a living being. In an exemplary embodiment, the closure device includes an anchor configured to be brought into engagement with an interior of the body passageway, a plug including a proximal portion and a distal portion, a filament coupled to the anchor and the plug. The filament may include a first extending section. The closure device further includes a lock attached to the first extending section, wherein the collar is positioned between the lock and the anchor, wherein the lock frictionally engages the first extending section of the filament so that the lock is movable along the filament only in response to application of a force on the lock that overcomes the frictional engagement.

  • Patent number: 8539459
Abstract: An individual security program is randomly chosen by way of a respective key and is then packaged with a games program to provide an executable program file which is applied to a storage media, such as an optical disc. Whenever the security program is running, the object code it produces is obfuscated to make it difficult to overcome the protection by identifying and removing the security program. The obfuscated object code is produced by substituting a variable in source code with a function of the variable. When the source code is compiled to produce the object code, the function causes the variable to be presented in the compiled object code as a series of operations.

  • Patent number: 8516469
Abstract: The present invention provides a process for generating a shared function binding arrangement comprising a first module and a shared module which includes a plurality of functions and having means for binding a function shared between the first module and the shared module. The process comprises a linking phase for creating the first module and the shared module, a preparation phase for preparing the first module for calling the shared module without exposing details of the call, and a loading phase for loading the modules and linking the first module to a respective function in the shared module without exposing details of the call. The invention also provides a method and system for binding a function shared between a first module and a shared module by means of a linking arrangement a linking arrangement that enables the first module to call a respective function in the shared module without exposing details of the call.
