    Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed related to determining whether there is a proper fit between a user interface and a face of a user. The methods and systems involve generating seal information associated with a seal region between a face of a user and a current user interface donned on the face of the user. The methods and systems are further related to analyzing the seal information to determine whether a leak exists in the seal region. If the leak exists, the systems and methods include analyzing the seal information to determine a location of the leak within the seal region. The systems and methods further include determining a new user interface to replace the current user interface based on the current user interface and the location of the leak.

    Abstract: Touch sensor panel configurations for reducing wobble error for a stylus translating on a surface over and between electrodes of the touch sensor panel are disclosed. In some examples, electrodes with more linear signal profiles are correlated with lower wobble error. In some examples, diffusing elements formed of floating segments of conductive materials can diffuse signal from a stylus to a plurality of electrodes, thus, making the signal profiles associated with the electrodes more linear. In addition, diffusing elements can be configured to improve the optical uniformity of the touch sensor panel. In some examples, the diffusing elements can be formed on the same layer as floating dummy pixels and resemble a plurality of merged floating dummy pixels.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to the engineering an animal model, preferably mammalian models, more preferably a rat model representing Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease 2A (CMT2A) harboring the p.Arg364Trp or p.His361Tyr Mfn2 mutation, whose human counterpart results in a severe, early-onset axonal neuropathy. A model having the p.Arg364Trp Mfn2 mutation is based on a mutation made using zinc finger endonuclease technology in fertilized rat eggs. Cohorts of mutants and wild type littermates were characterized behaviorally and shown to develop multiple motor deficits that worsened over time. Separate cohorts of mutant and wild type rats sacrificed at 7, 40, and 48 weeks and analyzed by light microscopy showed a reduced density of myelinated axons and active axonal degeneration in distal but not proximal nerves, as well as axonal degeneration in the fasciculus gracilis of the cervical spinal cord at 40 and 48 weeks.

    Abstract: Improvements in distributed ledger technology for capturing, maintaining and updating data for asset-backed securitizations are described. The invention provides a distributed ledger platform which automates the capture of specified data regarding the underlying financial assets, including owners, trustees, servicers and other parties associated with asset-backed securitizations, and stores and maintains the data in a blockchain to provide users with a secure, reliable, immutable and distributed ledger of the data and to generate custom data reports of information stored in the ledger. An offchain database may be maintained in synchrony with the blockchain to allow for reduced computational load. The invention also provides a mechanism for managing changes in the data using a smart contract based consensus mechanism, for example, to record securitization party replacements in an automated manner.

A receiver demodulates the OFDM signal and applies multi-input, multi-output (MIMO) demapping to estimate the BICM encoded bitstream. After deinterleaving of the BICM encoded bitstream, maximum a posteriori (MAP) decoding is applied to the resulting bit stream to generate soft output values.
