The UE may selectively perform a DCI size alignment procedure to adjust a DCI size configuration based at least in part on whether the quantity of DCI sizes satisfies the threshold. A serving base station or a serving satellite may transmit a timing configuration to the UE based on a reference unit, such as a location at a beam center for a respective satellite, a threshold distance relative to the beam center for the respective satellite, a reference time, or any combination thereof. In some cases, the UE may monitor for one or more SSBs from the neighboring satellites according to the timing configuration and a respective propagation delay between the UE and each of the neighboring satellites. The base station may transmit, to one or more UEs in the UE group, a resource allocation of a group WUS resource within a set of WUS resources associated with a paging occasion that is assigned to the one or more UEs in the UE group. A UE, after receiving the resource allocation, may determine a location of the group WUS resource within the set of WUS resources. The UE may monitor for a group WUS at the determined location in the resource allocation of the group WUS resource.

Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently retransmitting radio link control (RLC) protocol data units (PDUs) to one or more UEs. When a user equipment (UE) fails to receive or decode an RLC PDU transmitted by a base station, the UE may transmit a status PDU to the base station indicating that the UE failed to receive or decode the RLC PDU. The base station may receive the status PDU from the UE, and the base station may generate a repair PDU that includes redundant bits of the lost PDU (e.g., the PDU that the UE failed to receive or decode). The base station may then transmit the repair PDU to the UE, and the UE may use the redundant bits in the repair PDU (e.g., in combination with buffered PDUs) to attempt to correctly decode the lost PDU.

In some networks, a user equipment (UE) may switch between serving beams of a transmitting device that are associated with different bandwidth parts of a radio frequency spectrum. To improve aspects of beam measurement and selection, a UE may be configured to support various techniques for beam measurement according to the different bandwidth parts. For example, a UE may receive a beam measurement configuration associated with one or more beams, and may monitor for reference signals associated with the beams using the different bandwidth parts. The UE may determine a channel quality of one or more of the beams based on the monitoring, and transmit a beam measurement report to the network in accordance with the beam measurement configuration. In some examples, such a report may be transmitted based on the UE determining that an event condition is satisfied.
