  • Publication number: 20100054686
Abstract: Furcation management structures and fiber optic shelf assemblies including one or more furcation management structures are disclosed. The furcation management structures are disposed in a chassis of a fiber optic shelf assembly and define a mounting surface for mounting at least one furcation body of a fiber optic cable assembly thereto. The furcation management structure may allow the fiber optic shelf assemblies to provide a greater density of fiber optic cable assemblies to support high density fiber optic equipment. Moreover, the furcation management structures provides the craft with an organized mounting structure that is relatively quick and easy to remove, rearrange, and/or reconfigure.

  • Publication number: 20100054685
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed in the detailed description include a telescoping fiber optic module. The telescoping fiber optic module may be provided in a fiber optic equipment chassis which may be disposed in an equipment rack to support fiber optic connections. In embodiments disclosed herein, the telescoping fiber optic module is comprised of a fixed housing portion having an opening on a front side defining a passage inside the fixed housing portion. The fiber optic module is also comprised of a telescoping portion received in the passage inside the fixed housing portion. In this manner, the telescoping portion can telescope in and out of the fixed housing portion. This allows fiber optic connectors or adapters disposed in the telescoping portion and any connections made thereto to be telescoped out for improved access and telescoped back into the fixed housing portion when access is no longer needed.

  • Patent number: 7336041
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for automatic light dimming of electronic and magnetic ballasts used for fluorescent or high intensity discharge lamps. A variable capacitant's limiting current is added in the lamps which provides lighting intensity controls without changing the ballast's operation frequency. Several capacitors are placed in line with a terminal for the lamp. The capacitor's switching capability is used to change the current received by the lamp. The amount of voltage can be controlled by either varying the supply voltage, or with an elimination sensor, or by manual potentiometer control.

  • Publication number: 20030019021
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for that includes a tank valve assembly having a first valve and a second valve that provide for different flush water volumes. In order to flush liquid and other low density waste, a smaller flush water volume may be selected by the user. Alternatively, in order to flush solid and other high density waste, a larger flush water volume may be selected by the user. The tank valve assembly may be installed in a conventional toilet system, and the height of the valve that controls the smaller water volume may be adjusted to allow for different flush water volumes.

  • Patent number: 6100328
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for the production of reinforced thermoplastic and thermoadhesive polymers, used to make shaped reinforcing pieces for footwear in general, including sports shoes, these reinforced condensation polymers resulting from the polymerization of monomers such as lactones--specifically epsilon caprolactone, and condensable systems of two components, specifically polyisocyanates, polyols or polyolpolyesters--in the presence of reinforcing materials and, optionally, filling materials. The reinforced thermoplastic and thermoadhesive polymers are obtained in the form of sheets, from which the units or pieces are cut to a specified pattern, for example for the toecap, the heel piece or the inner sole.
