    Abstract: An electrical connector comprises a first connector, a second connector matable with the first connector, an elastic clip mounted on the first connector and movable between an engagement position and a disengagement position, and a safety locking member slidably mounted on the first connector and movable between a pre-locking position and a locking position. The elastic clip is coupled to the second connector in the engagement position to keep the second connector mated with the first connector. The elastic clip enables decoupling of the first connector and the second connector in the disengagement position. The safety locking member contacts the elastic clip in the locking position and prevents movement of the elastic clip from the engagement position toward the disengagement position.

The housing has a substantially cylindrical tubular body containing the electrical receptacle terminal with an end opening defined by a pair of elastically deformable axial arms capable of engaging the terminal portion. The bushing is movable with respect to the housing from a pre-locking position to a locking position only when the housing is in a correctly mounted position on the terminal portion.

    Abstract: An ignition coil for an ignition system of an internal combustion engine includes a primary winding connected, by an electrical connection, to a generator, and a secondary winding connected to a spark plug and including a plurality of turns of capillary wire covered with an insulating layer and wound on an electrically insulating support. The support includes a receiving seat in which there is inserted a terminal to which an end portion of the capillary wire is anchored. A connector includes an elastic clip contact element that is fitted on the terminal and is provided with a cutting element to cut the insulating layer of the capillary wire. A stop device prevents the elastic clip contact element from closing beyond a determined amount or entity. An abutment body abuts on the terminal to establish the electrical connection between the capillary wire and the terminal.

The contact element has an inoperative undeformed position in which flexible walls of the contact element are outwardly divergent from one another and, when the contact element is fitted over the support element in the inoperative undeformed position, a cutting element of the contact element remains at a distance from the wire. The flexible sleeve is movable into a final operative position in which the flexible sleeve pushes the flexible walls toward an inwardly inclined position in which the cutting element cuts into the insulating material of the wire and forms an electrical connection with the wire.
