Abstract: A female electric terminal made of conductive sheet metal. The terminal has a contact body with contact first and second flexible blades which project from opposite walls of the contact body and which cooperate with a male terminal and a portion for connection to an electric cable. The blades define a gap smaller than the thickness of the male terminal. The male terminal is inserted into the gap and the blades cooperate elastically with opposite faces of the male terminal. The first and second blades are asymmetrical so as to define transversely offset contact areas on the respective faces of the male terminal.

Abstract: An electric connector including an insulating case defining a number of axial cavities, and a number of electric terminal housed respectively inside the cavities and each comprising a contact body cooperating with a respective complementary terminal and presenting a box structure defined by four lateral walls, two of which mate with each other along an edge of the box structure. The contact body presents at least one tab extending integrally from one of the aforementioned two walls and bent onto the other, for both enhancing the structural resistance of the box structure and ensuring correct insertion of the terminal inside the respective cavity which presents locating ribs for the purpose.

Abstract: An electric connector comprising an insulating body of plastic material having a number of axial cavities housing respective electric terminals, and a recess formed in the rear end of the body, communicating with the cavities, and housing a seal having openings enabling insertion of the terminals inside the cavities and annular sealing lips cooperating sealingly with the cables of the terminals. The annular lips project axially towards the respective cavities from a surface of the seal cooperating with projections extending from the intersections of the walls defining the cavities, for preventing contact between the lips and the walls during insertion of the terminals.
