  • Publication number: 20240274286
Abstract: A method includes receiving a clinical data table for a patient. The clinical data table stores clinical data associated with the patient in tabular form. The method also includes extracting, from the clinical data table, one or more categorical features and one or more continuous features, and determining, using a clinical prediction model, one or more predicted clinical outcomes for the patient based on the one or more categorical features and the one or more continuous features extracted from the clinical data table. The method also includes providing, for output from a client device associated with a user, the one or more predicted clinical outcomes for the patient.

  • Publication number: 20230410483
Abstract: A method includes obtaining a first training data set including unannotated multi-dimensional medical images and executing a self-supervised masked image modeling (MIM) training process to pre-train an image encoder on the first training data set. The method also includes obtaining a second training data set that includes annotated multi-dimensional medical images. Here, each annotated multi-dimensional medical image includes a plurality of image voxels each paired with a corresponding ground-truth label indicating a class the corresponding image voxel belongs to. The method also includes executing a supervised training process to train an image analysis model on the second training data set to teach the image analysis model to learn how to predict the corresponding ground-truth labels for the plurality of image voxels of each annotated multi-dimensional medical image. The image analysis model incorporates the pre-trained image encoder.

  • Patent number: 10912876
Abstract: A system for controlling the position of a diaphragm in a diaphragm-containing pressure pod, is provided. The system can include a peristaltic pump, a pressure pod having a flow-through fluid side and a gas side that are separated by a diaphragm, and a pressure sensor operatively connected to the gas side. The pressure sensor is configured to sense pulses of pressure resulting from movement of the diaphragm and caused by the action of the peristaltic pump. A gas source and a valve can be in fluid communication with the gas side of the pressure pod and can be configured to provide gas to, or vent gas from, the gas side. A controller receives pressure signals from the pressure sensor and controls the valve in response, and in so doing, controls the position of the diaphragm. Methods for positioning the diaphragm are also included.

  • Patent number: 9877407
Abstract: The disclosed apparatus may include at least one physical extension handle that connects to at least one ejector that facilitates securing a line card to a chassis of a telecommunications system and ejecting the line card from the chassis of the telecommunications system. The physical extension handle may, when connected to the ejector, extend the ejector such that a user is able to access the ejector by way of the physical extension handle to secure the line card to or eject the line card from the chassis of the telecommunications system using the physical extension handle. Additionally or alternatively, the physical extension handle may facilitate physically supporting one or more communication cables connected to the line card in a horizontal orientation such that the communication cables avoid hanging down vertically directly from the chassis. Various other apparatuses and systems are also disclosed.
