  • Patent number: 11959533
Abstract: A hydraulic fracturing system for fracturing a subterranean formation is described according to various embodiments. In an embodiment, the system can include a multi-plunger hydraulic fracturing pump fluidly connected to a well associated with the subterranean formation, the multi-plunger pump configured to pump fluid into a wellbore associated with the well at a high pressure so that the fluid passes from the wellbore into the subterranean formation and fractures the subterranean formation. In an embodiment, a plurality of motors can be positioned to power the multi-plunger pump, and a planetary gear train can have a plurality of pinion gears in rotational contact with each of the plurality of motors. In an embodiment, a gear ratio of the planetary gear train and a speed at which the plurality of motors operates can be selected so as to limit a maximum pump speed associated with the multi-plunger pump.

  • Patent number: 11954072
Abstract: A content server can function as the master record keeper even if a file or folder that it manages in an enterprise computing environment is shared externally, for instance, through a cloud system. To mitigate network security risks, the content server polls, from behind a firewall, an event service of the cloud system. The event service, in response, can communicate events indicating changes to the shared content to the content server. The content server can interpret the events and determine whether to take any appropriate action, for example, updating an audit log to include an event and/or updating the managed content to reflect the changes. Likewise, the content server can communicate any change to the managed content to the cloud system through the event service. In this way, the managed content in the enterprise computing environment and the shared content in the cloud system are bidirectionally synced.

  • Patent number: 11953938
Abstract: The present technology proposes techniques for generating globally coherent timestamps. This technology may allow distributed systems to causally order transactions without incurring various types of communication delays inherent in explicit synchronization. By globally deploying a number of time masters that are based on various types of time references, the time masters may serve as primary time references. Through an interactive interface, the techniques may track, calculate and record data relative to each time master thus providing the distributed systems with causal timestamps.

  • Patent number: 11947859
Abstract: A system and method is provided that provides for the transfer of the execution of content from a user device to an external device for output of the content by the external device. External devices may be detected in a physical space, and identified based on previous connection with the user device, based on a shared network or shared system of connected devices including the user device, based on image information captured by the user device and previously stored anchoring information that identifies the external devices, and the like. An external device may be selected for potential output of the content based on previously stored configuration information associated with the external device including, for example, output capabilities associated with the external device. The identified external device may output the transferred content in response to a user verification input, verifying that the content is to be output by the external device.

  • Patent number: 11947399
Abstract: Systems and methods are described in which the location of a tap on the body of a handheld device is determined in real time using data streams from an embedded inertial measurement unit (IMU). Taps may be generated by striking the handheld device with an object (e.g., a finger), or by moving the handheld device in a manner that causes it to strike another object. IMU accelerometer, gyroscopic and/or orientation (relative to the magnetic and/or gravitational pull of the earth) measurements are examined for signatures that distinguish a tap at a location on the body of the device compared with signal characteristics produced by taps at other locations. Neural network and/or numerical methods may be used to perform such classifications.

  • Publication number: 20240093692
Abstract: A monitoring apparatus includes: input reception circuitry configured to receive a signal indicative of a characteristic of rotating assembly rotation; and bearing wear monitoring circuitry configured to analyze the signal characteristic of rotating assembly rotation. The bearing wear monitoring circuitry is also configured to identify one or more signal features indicative of bearing wear. Bearing wear produces variation in rolling friction of the bearing and therefore is one cause of variation in shaft torque. Aspects recognise that variations in shaft torque can be indirectly monitored, measured and/or determined by appropriate measurement or monitoring of operational characteristics of a pump motor and that it may be possible to distinguish variations in shaft torque which can be attributed to bearing wear from those variations in shaft torque caused by one or more other factors.
