  • Patent number: 10184572
Abstract: A valve arrangement including a sealing element is provided. The valve arrangement includes a housing having a port. A rotary valve body includes an opening, and the rotary valve body is arranged within the housing. The port of the housing and the opening of the rotary valve body are alignable with each other via rotation of the rotary valve body in the housing. A sealing element is arranged within the port. The sealing element includes a seal body having a first axial end engaged against the rotary valve body and a second axial end including a resilient axially compressible portion that engages against a seat in the housing. • Patent number: 10147630
Abstract: Compositions and designs are described for a sectional porous carrier used in processing microelectronics where thin device substrates are affixed by adhesive to the carrier and form an impervious bonded stack that is resistant to thermal and chemical products during processing and is easily handled by a substrate handling vacuum robot, and subsequently allows rapid removal (debonding) in batch operations by directional penetration into sectional porous regions by selective liquids which release the carrier from the device wafer without harm. The invention carrier with porous regions is used for temporary support of thin and fragile device substrates having capabilities of selective penetration of chemical liquids to pass through the porous regions, access and breakdown the bonding adhesive, and allow it to release without damage to the device substrate.

  • Publication number: 20180217629
Abstract: A method of performing a complex Fourier transform of an input function including amplitude and phase information, including decomposing the input function into a plurality of sub-functions, wherein the Fourier transform of each sub-function includes an amplitude function and a phase function in which the phase is constrained to a plurality of possible phase values. The phase function of the Fourier transform of each sub-function is determined with an optical system that measures the amplitude function of an optical Fourier transform of the sub-function and changes in the amplitude function of the optical Fourier transform caused by applying a perturbation function to the sub-function. The determined phase functions and the measured amplitude functions are combined for each of the sub-functions to form the complex Fourier transform of the input function.

  • Publication number: 20180197135
Abstract: A system and apparatus for measuring, monitoring, and/or controlling environmental attributes of various goods, particularly as the goods move along the supply chain from an originator to the ultimate consumer. One or more databases of historic environmental data may be created, integrated and compared—which may also include information defining the various geographic locations where the goods were stored along the journey from “farm to table”. The databases of historical environmental data may be supplemented and integrated with other sources of information to assist in better product usage and less waste. In one form, the system is passive and consists of collecting the information; in another, the system is active and is capable of adjusting various environmental parameters. Various devices are also described that may be used by consumers or commercial entities.
