  • Publication number: 20210393879
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to drug delivery devices, and in particular, to drug delivery devices configured to reconstitute a lyophilized drug powder into liquid form prior to delivery into a patients body. In some embodiments, such devices include a flexible drug reservoir having a proximal reservoir component storing a liquid diluent and a distal reservoir component storing a lyophilized drug powder, wherein the two compartments are separated by a frangible seal. A compression member may be positioned above the reservoir and held up by a releasable mechanism. When released, the compression member may be driven downwards to compress the proximal compartment so as to break the frangible seal and allow the diluent to mix with the drug powder and form a liquid drug mixture, and then to eject the liquid drug mixture from the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 11154037
Abstract: An animal-harness includes a line, two crimps along the line, and a ring. The line is formed at one end. The two parallel lines formed by the bight are crimped together by both crimps. The two crimps are spaced apart, and the lines therebetween form a gap. Through this gap, the line may be passed through to form a loop. The line of the bight may pass through the ring. This ring is large enough for the long end of the line to pass through it as well, so that another loop may be formed. Thusly, in use, two loops or formed. One loop may be passed around an animal collar region, and another around an animal girth, to form a secure and safe harness around the animal. The remaining length of the line is available to be used as a leash.

  • Patent number: 11073860
Abstract: A method of performing a complex Fourier transform of an input function including amplitude and phase information, including decomposing the input function into a plurality of sub-functions, wherein the Fourier transform of each sub-function includes an amplitude function and a phase function in which the phase is constrained to a plurality of possible phase values. The phase function of the Fourier transform of each sub-function is determined with an optical system that measures the amplitude function of an optical Fourier transform of the sub-function and changes in the amplitude function of the optical Fourier transform caused by applying a perturbation function to the sub-function. The determined phase functions and the measured amplitude functions are combined for each of the sub-functions to form the complex Fourier transform of the input function.

  • Patent number: 11016453
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments described in this disclosure can pertain to a controller apparatus that provides control signals to a power generation unit. The controller apparatus can include a first controller, a second controller, and a supervisor that can place the first controller in an in-service state and the second controller in a standby state. The first controller provides control signals to the power generation unit when in the in-service state. The second controller can include a copy of an application program contained in the first controller. This copy of the application program can be modified or replaced while the second controller is in the standby state. The supervisor may then opt to place the second controller in the in-service state and place the first controller in the standby state. The switch-over of controllers is carried out in a substantially simultaneous manner that eliminates interruption in control operations.

  • Patent number: 11004718
Abstract: Compositions and designs are described for a sectional porous carrier used in processing microelectronics where thin device substrates are affixed by adhesive to the carrier and form an impervious bonded stack that is resistant to thermal and chemical products during processing and is easily handled by a substrate handling vacuum robot, and subsequently allows rapid removal (debonding) in batch operations by directional penetration into sectional porous regions by selective liquids which release the carrier from the device wafer without harm. The invention carrier with porous regions is used for temporary support of thin and fragile device substrates having capabilities of selective penetration of chemical liquids to pass through the porous regions, access and breakdown the bonding adhesive, and allow it to release without damage to the device substrate.
