In response to the sum exceeding the storage limit, a decision is taken based on priorities of the DMMs which DMMs to store in the storage device.

Abstract: A method and system for registering a mobile phone number with an operator registration service. The method comprising receiving an electronic message including a unique subscriber name provided by a mobile phone subscriber and extracting the unique subscriber name from the electronic message and a mobile phone number associated with the electronic message corresponding to the mobile phone subscriber. A name-number pair is generated with the extracted unique subscriber name and the mobile phone number. The name-number pair is indexed in a searchable directory database where it may be retrieved in response to receiving a call request message from a calling party, the call request message including the unique subscriber name and an origination phone number. The method further comprising establishing a call between the origination phone number and the mobile phone number.

Abstract: Providing consistency guarantees in a data stream processing engine is provided. Consistency tracking information is attached to data streams coming into the data stream processing engine. The consistency tracking information is propagated through a plurality of streaming operators that process the data streams within the data stream processing engine. Then, the propagated consistency tracking information is used to detect a consistent state in an output stream.

Abstract: In a method for operating a time-controlled bus system, which communicates in communication slots in a sequence of communication cycles, a processing instruction, which is automatically generated from input data and configuration data, is used for processing communication tasks on the basis of time signals, the input data containing identifiers to identify the communication tasks, cycle information to assign the communication tasks to at least one communication cycle, and time position information to terminate the communication tasks within at least one communication cycle, and the configuration data contain data which define the communication tasks and/or describe the bus system.

A column having a size greater than or equal to the greatest size of any disk block is allowed a multiple disk block assignment.

Abstract: A computerized method and system of document analysis. The method and system categorise documents according to a taxonomy. This is accomplished by rating training documents on a lower level by associating either of the following predicates to a training document: either correct, inbound, outbound, or unassigned, Rating categories are established on a lower level by determining precision/recall values for each category, and generating higher level category rating attributes from the lower-level rating steps. This is done by associating one or more of: aa) weak category, bb) existing source/sink relationship between categories, cc) close categories to the categories, and deriving an overall quality measure for the training base from the lower-level and higher-level rating step. The lower-level and higher-level evaluation results are stored.

Abstract: A system and method for establishing a long distance call connection between call stations over the PSTN initiates a call connection request from a desktop application to operate locally on a user workstation. The desktop application communicates call connection information to a long distance service provider server without requiring a web browser when a request is initiated by a user. Call connection information is processed by the long distance service provider server and an information packet is sent to a call controller, to effect a call connection over the PSTN via a TDM toll switch. A communication connection with the long distance service provider server is automatically established by the desktop application when request is initiated, and a subsequently released when the call connection request is received and processed by the long distance service provider.
