  • Publication number: 20200266634
Abstract: A system for charging a battery includes an adapter, and a charger coupled to receive power from the adapter, and to provide a charging current to the battery. The charger includes a power stage with a charge pump to provide the charging current, and a feedback circuit to provide a feedback signal to the adapter. The power stage can be one of: an adjustable current source with voltage clamp, and an adjustable voltage source with current clamp. The charge pump can be implemented as a voltage divider, so that an input adapter current is multiplied by a pre-defined divider ratio to provide the charging current. • Patent number: 10739225
Abstract: Techniques for implementing and operating a system that includes a pipe segment, which has tubing that defines a bore and a fluid conduit implemented in an annulus of the tubing, and a test head. The test head includes a shell, which defines an annulus cavity, and an inflatable bladder implemented in the annulus cavity, in which the system maintains the inflatable securing bladder in a less inflated state while pipe segment tubing is not present in the annulus cavity and increases inflation of the inflatable bladder to a more inflated state when the tubing is present in the annulus cavity to facilitate securing and sealing an open end of the pipe segment in the test head to enable integrity of the tubing to be tested at least in part by flowing a test fluid into the annulus of the tubing via a testing port on the shell.

  • Patent number: 10733565
Abstract: Described is an interactive data processing system configured to facilitate selection by a human associate of tentative values generated by an automated system from sensor data. In one implementation, an event may take place in a materials handling facility. The event may comprise a pick or place of an item from an inventory location, movement of a user, and so forth. The sensor data associated with the event is processed by an automated system to determine tentative values associated with the event. In some situations, an uncertainty may exist as to which of the tentative values accurately reflects the actual event. The sensor data and tentative values may be provided to a human associate. The associate may select one of the tentative values. The selected tentative value and the sensor data may be used to train the automated system.

  • Publication number: 20200158250
Abstract: An automated thermally responsive valve with an internal reset function is disclosed. The cartridge latching mechanism can be retracted at a target temperature and manually reset at the target temperature to engage an ejector cap. The reset mechanism of the cartridge automatically returns to a latching configuration upon warming. The cartridge thermal actuator can be configured to retract the latching mechanism at a target temperature near freezing to provide a freeze protection drain valve that is ejected from a sealing element in the ejector cap and allows a fluid system to drain.

  • Publication number: 20200163233
Abstract: A tiled display having pixels arranged in rows and columns, and including first and second tiles. The tiles comprise a substrate carrying a matrix of pixels arranged at a pixel pitch. The substrates comprise an edge extending between opposing faces in a depth direction. The substrate edges have a complementary shape, and face one another to establish a seam. The pixel pitch is maintained across the seam. Pixels of the second tile are not interposed between pixels of the first tile. The complementary shape includes a segment of the seam being oblique to the pixel rows, or the substrate edge of the first tile profiled in the depth direction whereby at least a section of the edge is non-perpendicular to the faces. The tiled display can maintain the pixel pitch at the seams at high resolutions (e.g., pixel pitch less than 0.5 mm).

  • Patent number: 10565296
Abstract: A web template author can author interactive web templates via a static markup language-based authoring tool. The web template author can insert static markup language snippets representing one or more configurable controls of a web template into a static markup language-based authoring tool. Each snippet includes a definition of a preview of a configurable control in a static markup language as well as one or more disabled CMS instructions for the configurable control. The web template author can configure and view previews of the inserted configurable controls as they are added to the web template being developed within the static markup language-based authoring tool. When the web template author is satisfied with a version of a web template, the web template author can upload the static markup language definition of the web template to the server, where the web template is converted into a CMS-compatible web template.
