  • Patent number: 10471798
Abstract: An active suspension system is configured in a strut arrangement. The active suspension system comprises a hydraulic actuator and a hydraulic pump/electric motor assembly, wherein the actuator movement is preferably in lockstep with the hydraulic motor-pump and electric motor-generator combination. Torque in the electric motor is instantaneously controlled by a controller to create an immediate force change on the hydraulic actuator. The hydraulic actuator is configured so that it can be used as a strut whereby the actuator has sufficient structural rigidity to carry the applied suspension loads while capable of supplying damper forces in at least three quadrants of the force velocity graph of the suspension actuator operation. Embodiments disclosed include low cost active suspension systems for a MacPherson strut application.

  • Patent number: 10476425
Abstract: A roof mount system supports a solar panel above a roof and includes a base positioned on the roof and a first fastener connected to the base and extending away from the roof and moveable along the base in a direction generally parallel to the roof. A first clamp supports a bottom surface of a solar panel frame and adjusts the height of the solar panel above the roof by moving the first clamp along a first fastener in a direction perpendicular to the roof. A second clamp is connected to a second fastener and moves with respect to the first clamp perpendicular to the roof. The solar panel is clamped between the first clamp and the second clamp portion. A protrusion extends from the first or second clamp to form an electrical bond between the solar panel frame and the respective first or second clamp.

  • Patent number: 10473620
Abstract: The invention relates to methods for the detailed analysis of ion mixtures from complex mixtures of organic substances in time-of-flight mass spectrometers which are equipped with a trapped ion mobility spectrometer, a quadrupole mass selector and a fragmentation cell. The invention proposes to analyze ion signals of a first mass mobility map, fragment ion spectra and the identifications of the associated substances as to whether ion mixtures not resolved according to mass and mobility, for example from isomers or isobars, are possibly present, and to subsequently measure the ion signals of interest with method parameters which allow the ion species to be measured separately by means of high mobility resolution.

  • Patent number: 10472600
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for delivering biological samples to an ICP source of a mass cytometer are disclosed. Biological material is disposed on a plurality of discrete sites on a carrier. The plurality of discrete sites are configured to retain biological material and to release the biological material upon application of energy. The carrier is positioned in proximity to a gas conduit and upon release from the discrete sites, the biological material becomes entrained in a gas flow, which delivers discrete portions of biological material through the conduit to the ICP source for analysis by mass cytometry. The apparatus and methods can provide a continuous stream of discrete portions of biological material to a mass cytometer or mass spectrometer.

  • Patent number: 10477614
Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods for improving the DRX operation of a UE by introducing an additional DRX wake-up cycle, which runs in parallel to the short and/or long DRX cycle. The DRX wake-up cycle defines time intervals after which the UE starts monitoring the PDCCH for a wake-up duration of time; the UE does not perform any other operation during the wake-up duration apart from monitoring the PDCCH. The time intervals of the wake-up cycle between the wake-up durations are preferably shorter than the one of the DRX long cycle, and may have the same or a shorter length than the ones of the DRX short cycle. The wake-up duration may be as long as the on-duration of the DRX short/long cycle, or may be preferably much shorter, such as only one or a few subframes.

  • Patent number: 10474435
Abstract: Technologies are provided for creating and using template constraint expressions in constraint-based systems. Template constraint expressions can be created that can be used to define multiple usages of a same constraint rule in a configuration model. Using the template constraint expression, the constraint rule can be translated once and used multiple times as different instances of the rule are activated. Updates to the rule can be made to the template constraint expression and applied to all of the related instances. Constraint expressions can be created based on the template constraint expression. Configuration rule definitions in a configuration model definition can be parsed to create graphical representations of the configuration model definition. One or more of the graphical representations can be used to create a template constraint expression. Multiple object instances in the configuration model can be identified that satisfy matching criteria of the template constraint expression.
