  • Patent number: 10201845
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a corresponding method for manufacturing brush seals with obliquely positioned bristles. The method comprises the following steps: As the first step, a metal filament or wire (50) comprising a material for bristles is wound over two wire cores (42, 46) disposed at a distance from and running parallel to one another, to form a tightly packed metal filament or wire package (48). As the next step, the metal filament or wire package (48) is fastened to at least one wire core (42, 46). Then the region around at least one of the two wire cores (42, 46) is locally heated. Subsequently, at least one of the two wire cores (42, 46) is displaced.

  • Patent number: 10203952
Abstract: The current subject matter relates to an approach for splitting and rewriting database object bundles into database entities or subunits. For example, cyclical dependencies between a first parameter file and a second parameter file can be identified. The first parameter file can be partitioned into a plurality of subunits comprising a first subunit and a second subunit. The second parameter file, the first subunit, and the second subunit can be reordered to a call order that ensures there are no cyclical dependencies.

  • Patent number: 10203842
Abstract: A method includes receiving, in a first query interface, a query composed by the user by typing commands into a query box of the first query interface and based on the receiving of the query, causing events corresponding to query results of the query to be displayed in the first query interface with fields corresponding to the events. Based on the selection by the user of an option, a second query interface is displayed with a table that includes events that correspond to query results of a loaded query. The table includes columns corresponding to event attributes, rows corresponding to events. Cells are populated with the data items of event attributes, where one of the columns corresponds to a field of the fields displayed in the first query interface. The table also includes interactive regions selectable by the user to add one or more commands to the loaded query.

  • Patent number: 10203409
Abstract: A method and a device for locating a vehicle from a fixed reference map in which objects are assigned one or more positions in the reference map. At successive points of a vehicle trajectory, in each case a radar impulse is emitted and subsequently, angle-resolved and time-resolved measurements of the radar impulse response are performed. Object positions are identified in the environment surrounding the vehicle from the radar impulse response, the current identified object positions forming an environment map. The vehicle position is identified in the reference map by comparing the environment map to the reference map, the reference map being created from the identified positions and is continuously updated. An object classification for the identified object positions in the current environment map and/or reference map is performed and the identification of the vehicle position is performed while taking the object classification into account.
