  • Patent number: 11215397
Abstract: A vibration unit assembly for a belt conveyor has a vibration element, and vibration generator and a connection assembly. The vibration generator is operatively connected to the vibration element for inducing vibrations in the vibration element. The connection assembly connects the vibration element to the belt conveyor so that the vibration element may move relative to the belt conveyor. A contact surface of the vibration element engages a material to vibrate and compress the material as it is transported on the belt conveyor. The vibration element may include a plate or a roller. A method for treating a material involves applying a vibration force and applying a compressive force to compact the material. A method for drying a material involves applying a vibration force to the material to release fluid and applying a compressive force to compact the material.

  • Publication number: 20210359770
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to manufacture of an active array antenna from a combination of modular sub-arrays, nominally of equal size; each sub-array being associated with a separate receiver and/or transmitter. A solution to calibrating a modular array is the inclusion of a calibration manifold having multiple 1st ports that connect to respective sub-arrays between their passive network and their respective receiver and/or transmitter. Each of the first ports communicate with a common second port through which a signal can be introduced in order to be received at each element of each sub array, or through which a signal from any element of any sub-array can be received. This allows any element of the sub array to be calibrated at any time including during operation.

  • Patent number: 10074199
Abstract: Tissue mapping and imaging systems are disclosed along with methods for mapping tissue. The systems can include an image recording and mapping system in communication with a manual image scanning device having an imaging probe. The manual image scanning device can be configured to scan a volume of tissue and output at least one scanned image and to electronically receive and record the at least one scanned image. The image recording and mapping system can be further configured to construct an idealized tissue map from the at least one scanned image. The image recording and mapping system can also include a position tracking system configured to detect and track the position of the imaging probe and provide location identifier information for the at least one scanned image. The idealized tissue map can be an idealized depiction of an anatomy. The idealized tissue map can include references points.

  • Publication number: 20180111721
Abstract: A bag includes multiple bags nested within it. The bags may be sealed together along the open edge to eliminate slippage before use. When bags are ready for use, the seal may be broken to allow removal of each bag separately. The common practice of taking out the trash requires the undesirable task of replacing a full trash bag with an empty trash bag. The frequency of this task can be reduced by placing multiple trash bags at once, in the trash can structure. When a bag is removed, the remaining layers stay in the structure awaiting use.
