  • Publication number: 20230336661
Abstract: An improved emergency response method and system are shown and described. A content-specified text field-such as a caller name field-- an ALI database record for a communication device is updated to include information about a person experiencing an emergency and the emergency. A PSAP receiving an emergency services call from the communication device receives the caller name field on a terminal display and is thus informed about the emergency via a alphanumeric character communication rather than orally. A particular emergency may be assigned a code that is put in the caller name field.

  • Publication number: 20230309808
Abstract: A device operable to clean an imaging element of a visualization scope comprises a visualization scope engagement body, a cleaning element having a first end portion thereof located adjacent to a distal end of the visualization scope engagement body and a cleaning head attached to the visualization scope engagement body at the distal end thereof. The first end portion of the cleaning element is engaged with the cleaning head. The cleaning head is movable between a deployed configuration relative to the visualization scope engagement body and a retracted configuration relative to the visualization scope engagement body. A centerline longitudinal axis of the visualization scope engagement body extends through the cleaning head when the cleaning head is in the deployed configuration and does not extend through the cleaning head when the cleaning head is in the retracted configuration. • Patent number: 11766309
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosures made herein are directed to facilitating adjustability of operative apparatuses. More specifically, embodiments of the disclosures made herein are directed to mitigating adverse implications of having to adjust a control portion of an operative apparatus to a user-defined setting that is not otherwise a predefined setting position of the control portion. Such adverse implications may arise, for example, due to the time required for performing such adjustment with a required degree of precision. Thereby, such embodiments serve to mitigate, if not eliminate, that manner in which adjusting the control portion of the operative apparatus to the user-defined setting during a procedure can undesirably and/or unacceptably limit efficiency and/or effectiveness of the procedure.

  • Patent number: 11702605
Abstract: A plant and a method for the production of hydrogen and bicarbonate. The plant includes a gasifier, a reformer, a direct contact exchanger and an apparatus for the production of bicarbonate. The plant is suitable for receiving fuel, oxygen, water, carbonate, brine at the inlet and for producing hydrogen, bicarbonate and calcium chloride at the outlet. The plant uses a self-cleaning direct contact heat exchanger to cool the syngas downstream of the reformer and to produce the superheated steam that feeds the gasifier: this heat exchanger allows the production of hydrogen at low costs and in modular plants.

  • Patent number: 11645226
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a processor having a functional slice architecture. The processor is divided into tiles (or functional units) organized into a plurality of functional slices. The functional slices are configured to perform specific operations within the processor, which includes memory slices for storing operand data and arithmetic logic slices for performing operations on received operand data (e.g., vector processing, matrix manipulation). The processor includes a plurality of functional slices of a module type, each functional slice having a plurality of tiles. The processor further includes a plurality of data transport lanes for transporting data in a direction indicated in a corresponding instruction. The processor also includes a plurality of instruction queues, each instruction queue associated with a corresponding functional slice of the plurality of functional slices, wherein the instructions in the instruction queues comprise a functional slice specific operation code.

  • Publication number: 20230121986
Abstract: A system receives a predictive model and receives one or more runtime constraints. The system generates a directed acyclic graph (DAG) of the predictive model indicating dependencies. The system compiles the predictive model into first instructions for a first processor based on the one or more runtime constraints and the DAG. The system packages first instructions, the one or more runtime constraints, and the DAG of the predictive model in a first binary. The system recompiles the predictive model into second instructions for a second processor based on the runtime constraints and the DAG stored in the first processor. The system packages the second instructions, the DAG, and the runtime constraints in a second binary.

  • Patent number: 11574744
Abstract: An improved emergency response system is provided. The system includes a patient or subscriber location database having a schedule of patient or subscriber activities. In one implementation, an emergency services server detects when the patient or subscriber is having a possible medical event as indicated by medical physiologic data transmitted from a wireless communication device proximate the patient. A third party such as a technologist and/or doctor diagnoses the patient and determines whether treatment is required. If treatment is required, a phone located remotely from the patient is used to call an emergency services first responder from a public safety access point in the patient's location. The remotely located phone has an automatic location identification database record that is updated based on the patient's current location as indicate by the patient location database.
