  • Publication number: 20210094656
Abstract: A method of deploying autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), the method comprising loading the AUVs into a deployment device; submerging the deployment device containing the AUVs after the AUVs have been loaded into the deployment device; towing the submerged deployment device containing the AUVs with a surface vessel; deploying the AUVs from the submerged deployment device as it is towed by the surface vessel; and operating a thruster of each AUV after it has been deployed so that it moves away from the submerged deployment device. A method of retrieving autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) is also disclosed, the method comprising towing a submerged retrieval device with a surface vessel; loading the AUVs into the submerged retrieval device as it is towed by the surface vessel; and after the AUVs have been loaded into the submerged retrieval device, lifting the submerged retrieval device containing the AUVs out of the water and onto the surface vessel.

  • Patent number: 10945022
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for scheduling a season recording. A series is provided to a user device, the series having a plurality of sequential seasons, and each season having a plurality of episodes. A request for recording the series is received from the user. In response, a last episode of the series watched by the user is identified. A relevant season of the plurality of seasons is then determined, such that the relevant season precedes another season of the plurality of seasons and includes the last episode watched by the user. Then, episodes of the relevant season that follow the last episode watched by the user are scheduled for recording, such that episodes of a season that precedes the relevant season are not scheduled for recording.

  • Patent number: 10916085
Abstract: A modular valuable media recycling device is presented. The valuable media recycling device includes a media infeed module, a validator module, an escrow module, a plurality of media feeder/stacking modules, and a plurality of cassette modules. When a module handles a valuable media item along a media transport path, the module's identifier and security information are passed as a message to a next module that is to handle the media item in a processing path for the media item. Each module independently validates the authenticity of the message received from a previous module. The number of media feeder/stacking modules and cassette modules are scalable based on the transaction terminal that the modular valuable media recycling device is integrated into.

  • Patent number: 10860618
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for implementing a low-latency data stream monitoring system. The data stream monitoring system may obtain raw data from a data source as soon after the data is generated, and may classify the data according to different topics. The topics may be published in a publish-subscribe messaging model, and data enrichment systems may subscribe to the topics to receive data for enrichment. The data enrichment systems may supplement or replace the raw data with additional information, and may further classify or reclassify the enriched data into different topics. The enriched data may then be published to an alert generation system, which may apply various criteria to the enriched data to determine that alerts should be generated, generate the alerts, and publish or transmit the alerts to client devices. Individual data streams, topics, enrichments, criteria, and alarms may be added, removed, or modified as required.

  • Patent number: 10832211
Abstract: Extraction and provision of message identification information to a productivity application for enabling the productivity application to provide an embedded communication experience in association with an attachment file is provided. A message including an attachment is received via a messaging application. Upon receiving a selection to open the attachment from within the messaging application, the attachment file is opened in a productivity application, and various parameters associated with the message are extracted. A path including the various parameters is constructed and passed to a productivity application, thus allowing the productivity application to provide a persisted conversation in a user interface of the productivity application for viewing of and interaction with the conversation.
