  • Patent number: 10970330
Abstract: A method is provided to search for images. The method includes identifying an object in a two-dimensional reference image. The method includes determining a three-dimensional reference orientation axis of the object based on at least one attribute of the object. The method includes receiving an input that requests a change in a three-dimensional perspective of the object. The method further includes determining a new orientation axis based on the input and the reference orientation axis. The method includes executing a search query on a set of two-dimensional images, where the search query is based on the new orientation axis and at least one attribute of the object. The method also includes displaying image search results that are ranked based on correlations with the new orientation axis and the attribute of the object.

  • Patent number: 10681101
Abstract: There are provided a system, a method and a computer program product for controlling one or more media files in a mobile device. The system predicts a future usage of the media files. The system ranks each media file according to a likelihood that the each media file is processed at a time and a location associated with the predicted future usages. The system preemptively downloads the media files to a local data storage device of the mobile device, according to the ranking. There are also provided a system, a method and a computer program product for using one or more networks for a mobile device. The mobile device downloads an amount of data while the mobile device is connected to the first pre-determined wireless network. The mobile device configures certain applications in the mobile device to use the second pre-determined wireless network.

  • Patent number: 10244023
Abstract: A system, method and computer program product for storing streaming media content includes: receiving streaming content, at a first mobile computing device, from a content service provider over a communications network; and determining, by a secondary mobile computing device specific details of a use of the content currently being received and buffered at the first device. The second device obtains, using the determined specific details, the content expected to be consumed by the first device to a local memory storage device at the secondary device, and stores the expected content for subsequent consumption. The system and method provides for an awareness of data usage of an account instance on the secondary device; storing a set of data locally on a secondary device based on usage of a primary device; and enabling the downloading of a set of data to the secondary device via a local connection to the primary device.

  • Patent number: 9275371
Abstract: A system, computer program product and method of keeping track of an attachment that has been detached from an e-mail message are provided. Generally, a table on which an attachment that has been detached from an e-mail message is cross-referenced to its storage location is used. Further, a link is inserted into the e-mail message to facilitate access to the detached attachment. If the attachment is ever moved from its storage location to a new storage location, the cross-referencing table is updated to reflect the new storage location. The link is also updated to facilitate access to the attachment at the new storage location.

  • Patent number: 9124725
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide optimization of telephone services through telephone calling plan/card analysis. The least expensive rate is found for telephone calls at any given time and/or date, either through static pre-entry of data, or through dynamic querying of rates via a web-based look-up table, and places calls according to an optimized calling plan. Specifically, in a typical embodiment, an outgoing/target telephone number for an intended telephone call is captured, and a corresponding destination geographic region is identified. Based on the geographic region, a calling plan resulting in a lowest price for the telephone call is identified. This is typically accomplished by consulting at least one table (e.g., call information table) that associates (among other things) calling plans and/or calling cards with geographic regions.

  • Patent number: 8719842
Abstract: An agent may receive an event from a source calendaring system, wherein the event specifies a person, perhaps including a uniform resource locator, having disparate calendaring system. The disparate calendaring system may use a native event format for coordinating events. The agent may lookup a template to convert the event to a native event. The agent may transmit a message with attributes such as a unique identifier to the disparate calendaring system. If the disparate calendaring system acknowledges the event with a success, the agent may log the occurrence of a success. Agent may transmit additional messages having native events to additional disparate systems.
