  • Publication number: 20080297265
Abstract: Even the 4Less-Xtaless, Capless, Indless, Dioless TSOC Design of SOC or 4Free-Xtafree, Capfree, Indfree, Diofree TSOC Design of SOC is developed for the TSOC True System-On-Chip, the 4Less/4Free technologies can still be applied to the conventional XCLK, PMU, etc chip design to have the drastically fantastical improvements over the conventional crystal clock and power management unit chips. The application of 4Less/4Free-TSOC technology to the conventional crystal oscillator to be the QBXOCK Q-Boost Crystal Oscillator Clock, QBTCXO Q-Boost Temperature Cancelling Crystal Oscillator Clock and QBVCXO Q-Boost Voltage Control Crystal Oscillator Clock. Temperature cancelling technique is different from temperature compensation technique. Temperature cancelling technique gets rid of the temperature effect completely. However, the temperature compensation technique still has the residue temperature effect which cannot be compensated with the trimming bits.

  • Publication number: 20040209712
Abstract: The golh sport is comprised of the golh club, golfrisbee disc and golfrisbee basket. Swiveling the golh club, the flying object such as golfrisbee disk is thrown to fly into the golfrisbee basket. The golfrisbee basket has the wind-bell-chain reverted umbrella structure to protect the golfrisbee from damage. The flying object has many types such as the gollfball, golfrisbee disk, golfring, diskring, boomerang, ploygon boomerang, multi-boomerang ring, multi-boomerang diskring, etc. The golfrisbee further comprises a slotted skirt made of rubber material to make it safe for playing in the park and the backbone made of the shock-resistant plastic material. Furthermore, the golh sport is the golf hybrid of the golfrisbee and golfball. Swiveling the golh club, the golfrisbee or the golfball is thrown to fly. The golf ball can be putted to roll into the universal portable hole with golh club. Golh is the hybrid golf comprising the flying golfrisbee and the golfball.

  • Publication number: 20040077255
Abstract: The golfrisbee sport is to launch the golfrisbee to fly into a portable golfrisbee basket or push the golfrisbee mounted on a universal put and hole to roll into a cavity. The golfrisbee emulates the human throwing process to launch the disk to fly. Swiveling golfrisbee pole to rotate golfrisbee disk to have frictionless take-off launching, the screw provides the frictionless lock, frictionless launch and frictionless take-off depending on the specified screw position. As the disk rotates due to the eccentric force, the disk automatically launches and takes off to fly at the specified position. The golfrisbeer swivels the club to launch the golfrisbee to fly. The golfrisbee is launched to fly with the waist force to swivel the club at very high speed. With the high-speed swiveling club, the golfrisbee flies much farther and higher than the hand-throwing flying disk does. The complicated throwing process of human brain and hand cooperation mechanism is emulated with the simple screw mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20030171170
Abstract: The golh system comprises the complete set for the course golh, park golh, snow golh, night golh, and basedisk. Golh is the hybrid golf comprising the flying golfrisbee and the rolling golfball. Basedisk is the golfrisbee sport following the similar game rules of baseball. To make the golh dream come true, the golh system comprises the golh club, sky-ballet golfrisbee, golh lubricant, golh cart, golh trolley, golh bag, golh swing trainer, and the manufacture processes to be an integrated system package. The sky-ballet golfrisbee comprises a skirt to make it safe for playing in the park. The golfrisbee of golh will be the human power farthest throw in the world to be the new Guinness world record. The ski golh and basedisk will be the new Olympic sports.

  • Patent number: 6424941
Abstract: Compression of speech may be achieved through the adaptive generation of a compressed sound output. A first processing element may be used to characterize a first sound representation such that a first characterization result is produced. A comparison element may be provided to compare a first comparison input that is related to the first sound representation with a second comparison input that is related to the first characterization result. A determination may be made on whether further processing is desirable based on whether the first comparison result satisfies a first predetermined threshold criteria. Additionally, a second processing element may be included to characterize a second sound representation and to produce a second characterization result only if the first comparison result satisfies the first predetermined threshold. A compressed sound output is generated whose contents are determined based on at least the first comparison result.

  • Patent number: 6382121
Abstract: A ballast system for a sailing boat includes an elongate body having a first end and a second end. A mounting is provided at the first end of the elongate body for suspending the elongate body from a hull of a sailing boat. A ballast weight is positioned at the second end of the elongate body. A motor and gear assembly are provided for moving the second end of the elongate body relative to the hull of the sailing boat. The described ballast system decreases the amount of ballast weight required without sacrificing the safety of operation of the sail boat. The decrease in ballast weight, decreases the over all displacement of the sail boat, and permits increased speed.

  • Patent number: 6243674
Abstract: A sound compression system adaptively switches codebooks in and out based on a calculation carried out with the output of the codebook. The system uses three separate codebooks: adaptive vector quantization codebook, real pitch codebook, and noise codebook. The perceptually-weighted filter is generated adaptively using the predictive coefficients from the current sub-frame.

  • Patent number: 5482302
Abstract: A human powered skibob is described. A skibob is a vehicle with runners for gliding downhill over snow. With the present invention, a locomotive force is provided by a pedal powered drive assembly which includes at least one rigid suspension member depending vertically from a back of the frame. A sliding beamus slidably mounted to the at least one suspension member for sliding movement relative to the frame. Biasing springs are disposed between the sliding beam and the at least one suspension members, thereby urging the sliding beam toward a remote end of the at least one suspension member. A secondary drive sprocket is rotatably mounted to the sliding beam. The secondary drive sprocket has at least one drive member with at least two radially extending force transmitting members angularly offset and terminating in pivotally mounted gripping members.
