  • Patent number: 11960464
Abstract: A materialization configuration request is received via a programmatic interface from a client of a journal-based multi-data-store database. The request indicates a partitioning rule to be used to select, for respective writes indicated in committed transaction entries of a journal, the materialization node at which the writes are to be stored. A control plane component of the database verifies that a set of materialization nodes corresponding to the partitioning rule has been established, and initiates the propagation of writes from the journal to the materialization nodes by respective write appliers.

  • Patent number: 10943509
Abstract: A patient simulator system includes a right eye assembly including a right eyelid and a right pupil, and a left eye assembly including a left eyelid and a left pupil, wherein the right pupil moves within an area of the right eye and the left pupil moves within an area of the left eye. In various embodiments, right/left optical sensors provide right/left electrical signals based on sensed light conditions associated with the right/left eyes, and a microprocessor changes a size of the right iris based on the right electrical signal, and changes a size of the left iris based on the left electrical signal. In various embodiments, the microprocessor electrically actuates at least one blink motor to rotate, wherein rotation of the at least one blink motor results in motion of the right eyelid and/or the left eyelid to simulate blinking.

  • Patent number: RE47005
Abstract: A circuit for generating an output voltage to a top node of a plurality of LED strings. The circuit includes an inductor having a load current flowing therethrough and a switching transistor responsive to a switching control signal. An integrator generates a compensation voltage responsive to a voltage at a bottom node of the LED string and a reference voltage. Circuitry for combining an a correction offset with the compensation voltage is responsive to the compensation voltage and the load current through the inductor. The offset is generated only during a step load change of the load current and substantially reduces voltage transients from the compensation voltage and the output voltage. A summation circuit sums the compensation voltage including the correction offset with at least the voltage at the bottom node of the LED string to generate a first control signal. A latch generates the switching control signal responsive to the first control signal and a leading edge blanking signal.
