  • Patent number: 11268958
Abstract: The methods of the present invention exploit unique biochemical pathways present within infectious organisms to develop small molecule metabolic tracers. Labeled substrates created using these inventive methods were created. The labeled substrates can be used to determine whether a subject is infected with an infectious organism by imaging means, and with use of two or more such labeled substrates, methods of differentiating gram negative infection from gram positive infection, and methods of localizing and quantifying infectious disease burden are provided. The methods of the present invention can assist in the clinical decision to begin empiric antibiotic therapy, determine its efficacy, as well as the choice of antibacterial agents.

  • Publication number: 20220063057
Abstract: An air grinder vacuuming assembly includes a shield that is removably attachable to an air grinder such that the shield surrounds a grinding disk on the air grinder. In this way the shield can contain dust and debris produced by the grinding disk. A coupler is coupled to the shield such that the coupler surrounds the drive portion of the air grinder. The coupler is tightenable to engage the drive portion for retaining the shield on the air grinder. A tube is fluidly coupled to the shield such that the tube is in fluid communication with the grinding disk for having the dust and debris pass therethrough. Moreover, the tube is fluidly attachable to a vacuum source to facilitate the dust and debris to be sucked away from the air grinder.

  • Publication number: 20220065077
Abstract: An oil well cellar assembly includes a tube that is positionable beneath ground having the tube surrounding an oil well thereby facilitating the tube to define an oil well cellar to access the oil well. The tube is comprised of an electrically insulating material to enhance safety with respect to electrical discharge between the tube and the oil well. A plurality of spray bars is each coupled to the tube having each of the spray bars being positioned inside the tube for cleaning the tube. A suction conduit is integrated into the tube to facilitate the fluid to be pumped out of the tube after the tube is cleaned. A lid is positionable over the tube and the lid has an opening extending therethrough to accommodate the oil well when the lid is positioned on the tube.

  • Publication number: 20220040335
Abstract: The present invention provides positron emitter radiolabeled versions of PABA, metabolites and derivatives, with good radiochemical yield, high specific activity, high chemical and radiochemical purity and having excellent characteristics for PET imaging. The inventive composition and methods provide high quality dynamic images of the kidneys while reducing the radiation exposure. The short biological half-life of PABA, added to the short physical half-life of positron emitters such as 11C will also benefit patients that require multiple renography assessments in a short period of time.
