Abstract: The invention relates to a cosmetic composition having a cooling effect, particularly a clear gel or a spray. The composition has a long-lasting cooling effect of about 8 hours and comprises a cooling complex consisting of 0.05-0.15% Menthyl Lactate, 0.1-0.2% Menthyl PCA and 0.05-0.2% Ethyl Menthane Carboxamide.

Abstract: A ratchet wrench includes a body with a head portion and a shaft. The head portion includes a cavity. A rotatable member is received by the cavity and is rotatable about an axis. The rotatable member has a plurality of teeth disposed around a circumferential surface thereof. A reversing member is pivotally mounted to the body, and is movable between a first position and a second position. A pawl is connected to the reversing member such that the pawl moves circumferentially relative to the axis of the rotatable member as the reversing member moves between the first and second positions. The pawl includes a plurality of teeth that intermesh with the plurality of teeth on the rotatable member. Substantially all of the teeth of the pawl remain intermeshed with the teeth of the rotatable member as the reversing member moves between the first position and the second position.

Abstract: A surgical clamp assembly includes a clamp having movable jaws, each of which has a clamping surface for engaging a portion of a patient's body. An electrode forms a portion of the clamping surface of at least one of the jaws, the electrode being capable of heating, severing, or cauterizing the portion of the patient's body that is grasped by the clamp. If desired, the clamp assembly can be provided with a retainer that prevents the jaws from being opened accidently. The clamp assembly also can include an actuator that can be detached from the clamp and removed from the operative site, leaving the locked clamp in place. In this type of assembly, when it is desired to remove the clamp, the actuator can be reattached to the clamp and used to disengage the toothed retainer, and thereafter can be used to spread the jaws in order to permit the clamp to be removed.

Such arbitrations on sets of ads can consider how ads, search results, colors, positions, fonts, etc., all interact with each other and affect the usefulness of the sets of ads to advertisers, end users, document publishers, and/or an ad serving entity.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for identifying a caller who does not provide caller identification on an unanswered call. The caller is asked to record his/her name (or some other characteristic utterance). If the call is unanswered, the record is retained and can be accessed by the called party when that party requests his/her stored voice mail. Advantageously, even on unanswered calls, the identity of the caller can be presented to the called party when that called party requests stored voice mail messages, even if the calling party has private service.

Abstract: Documents or document sets may be scored to reflect a value of an action, such as a selection for example, when an ad is served with the document (or a document belonging to a document set). A cost associated with the action with respect to an ad that was served with a document may then be adjusted using the score. For example, ad scores may be accepted or determined, and a document may be scored using the ad scores when served with the document and ad scores across a collection of documents to generate a document score. Each of the ad scores may indicate a value of an action with respect to an ad, such as a conversion rate, or a return on investment for an ad selection for example. Document scores used in this way may help advertisers get a more consistent cost per conversion, or return on investment, without requiring them to enter and manage various offers for various documents and/or various ad serving systems having various conversion rates or returns on investment.

In this manner, additional trauma, pain and/or injury to the patient is avoided or minimized while emergency care is being provided. The first plate has a first end portion, and the second plate has a second end portion. Abstract: A storage structure includes a housing. A front wall is movable to and from a closed position closing a forwardly facing opening of the housing. The lower section can be moved generally rectilinearly relative to the upper section into generally parallel, overlapped relation with the upper section. The upper section is pivotably mounted to the housing so that the front wall can be pivoted upwardly into a storage position generally parallel to and underneath the top wall for storing the upper and lower sections in the generally parallel, overlapped relation underneath the top wall.
