Patent number: 11934537Abstract: A first processing device obtains a first copy of software from a repository, the first copy including first computer instructions and first data for indicating a running state of a device. A validation request is sent, which includes a seed, an algorithm identifier, a number of random numbers to generate, and a nonce. The first processing device generates the number of first random numbers using the seed and an algorithm corresponding to the algorithm identifier, and maps the first random numbers to memory blocks, each of which includes a respective first computer instruction of the first copy or the first data. A first hash is calculated from contents of the mapped memory blocks and the nonce. A second hash, calculated using information included in the validation request and a software copy on a second processing device, is received. An action is automatically performed when the hashes do not match.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2023Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: INTEGRITY SECURITY SERVICES LLCInventor: Amit Kapoor

Patent number: 11417153Abstract: A method of notifying an owner of a fault associated with a vehicle system of a vehicle. The method includes receiving, at a computing processor, one or more fault messages from a vehicle system of the vehicle. Each fault message includes a fault source identifying the vehicle system, a fault time identifying a time of the fault, and a fault description. The method also includes determining, by the computing processor, a fault value associated with the received one or more fault messages. The fault value indicative of a period of time or a number of events from an initial received fault message. The method also includes transmitting, from the computing processor to a third party in communication with the computing processor, the fault value. The method also includes receiving, from the third party, a service notification, and displaying, on a display in communication with the computing processor, the service notification.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2019Date of Patent: August 16, 2022Assignee: Continental Autonomous Mobility US, LLCInventors: Robert M Andres, Amit Kapoor, Dennis Ziesmer

Patent number: 11005722Abstract: A graphical network design and configuration tool provides an administrator graphical user interface (GUI) with icons that represent virtual network elements, physical network elements, and links used to deliver network-based services and associates, via the administrator GUI, the icons with network element properties based on user input. A design GUI is provided including a design canvas to arrange and connect the icons. User input is received via the design GUI to arrange the icons on the design canvas to provide a design for a network-based service. A design template for the network-based service is generated based on the second user input. A configuration GUI solicits location-specific network level attributes for network elements in the design template and creates an instance of the design template based on the network level attributes. Configuration files are automatically generated for the physical network elements represented in the instance of the design template.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2018Date of Patent: May 11, 2021Assignee: Verizon Patent and Licensing Inc.Inventors: Srilakshmi Reddy Valisammagari, Mukesh Kumar, Ganesh Narayan, Sanjay Ravindra Ranade, Chetan B.
