  • Patent number: 11889178
Abstract: An electronic device, a method and a computer program product for camera adjustments based on eye gaze tracking. The method includes capturing, via a front facing camera, an image stream containing a face of a user and determining, via a processor, an eye gaze direction based on images retrieved from the image stream. The eye gaze direction corresponds to a location where the user is looking. In response to determining that the user is looking away from the front surface of the electronic device and towards a direction within a field of view of a rear facing camera, the method further includes identifying image characteristics of the location, generating camera settings of the rear facing camera based on the eye gaze direction/characteristics of the location and adjusting the rear facing camera using the generated camera settings such that the rear facing camera focuses on the location.

  • Publication number: 20240027199
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods, devices, and computer-readable storage media that support adaptive scheduling of electric vehicles (EVs) of an EV fleet for order deliveries. In some implementations, one or more aspects of the adaptive EV scheduling may be customized for EVs. For example, the adaptive EV scheduling may include identifying an energy efficient route that also reduces stress on a battery of an EV and may be based at least in part on a charging parameter associated with the EV. In some examples, the charging parameter may include one or more of a state of charge (SOC) associated with the battery, a state of health (SOH) associated with the battery, a location of a charging station for the EV, an average charging duration associated with the EV, or an intelligent charging parameter associated with the EV.

  • Publication number: 20240022815
Abstract: An electronic device includes a device housing supporting a user interface, one or more touch sensors, and at least one image capture device. One or more processors cause, in response to the user interface receiving user input initiating a video capture operation, the at least one image capture device to capture a plurality of video frames. The plurality of video frames are processed with a first video stabilization operation when the electronic device is supported by a multi-handed touch input and a second video stabilization operation when the electronic device is supported by a single-handed touch input. The first video stabilization operation crops less of each image than the second video stabilization operation since the electronic device is likely more stable when supported by the multi-handed touch input.

  • Patent number: 11874865
Abstract: Improved artificial intelligence computer systems actively and/or passively provide end-users with information from firm data systems to help the end-user perform the end-user's job functions. In a passive implementation, the system can prioritize emails for a user, craft consistent responses to multiple email inquiries on the same topic, and/or craft responses whose content is drawn from a library of electronic documents. In an active implementation, the system comprises AI agents associated with individual databases of the system, where the AI agents are tuned to retrieve data from their associated database in response to a query from the end-user.

  • Patent number: 11875294
Abstract: A method to provide multi-objective recommendations. The method includes receiving user input indicating a plurality of objectives, where each of the plurality of objectives indicates a desired goal for a field of interest, receiving user input indicating a plurality of actionable fields, receiving user input indicating selection of one of a plurality of records in a data set, determining, based on applying an evolutionary algorithm, one or more candidate changes to values of the plurality of actionable fields of the selected record, determining, for each of the one or more candidate changes, a multi-objective score for that candidate change, selecting one or more of the one or more candidate changes to recommend to a user based on the multi-objective scores of the one or more candidate changes, and providing, for display to the user, the selected one or more candidate changes as recommended changes.

  • Patent number: 11873008
Abstract: A representation of a first set of weights associated with a vehicle prior to a drive are received, the vehicle including a plurality of axles, a plurality of wheels attached to the plurality of axles, and a load. A warning is caused to be output in response to at least one weight from the first set of weights being outside a predetermined range. Longitudinal and lateral dynamics associated with the vehicle during the drive are determined. A second set of weights associated with at least one axle from the plurality of axles during the drive are determined. A determination is made if at least one remedial action should be performed based on the longitudinal dynamics, the lateral dynamics, and the second set of weights. In response to determining that the at least one remedial action should be performed, the at least one remedial action is caused to be performed.

  • Patent number: 11870825
Abstract: An electronic device, computer program product, and method are provided that prompt a person who is participating in a video communication session to gaze toward a local image capturing device. A controller of the electronic devices receives an image stream from an image capturing device configured to be spaced away from a display device and having a field of view that incorporates a person that is proximate to the display device. The controller communicates the image stream to a video communication session. The controller receives second image stream(s) from second communication device(s) and presents the second image stream(s) at a display device. In response to a trigger that indicates that the first image stream is being presented as a primary image stream by the at least one second electronic device, the controller presents a prompt indicating that the participant should gaze toward the image capturing device.

  • Patent number: 11871048
Abstract: An electronic device, computer program product, and method are provided that automatically focus on meaningful content in an image stream during an instruction-oriented video communication session. The electronic device communicatively connects the electronic device via a network to image stream transmitting (IST) electronic device(s) during a video communication session. A controller of the electronic device identifies a person and a writing surface within an image stream received from the IST electronic device. In response to determining that the person is attending to the writing surface, the controller presents on display device(s) a first portion of the image stream that focuses on the writing surface. In response to determining that the person is not attending to the writing surface, the controller presents on the display device(s) a second portion of the image stream that does not focus on the writing surface.

  • Publication number: 20240003983
Abstract: Systems and processes are provided to detect an improper external power supply. An example includes a processor in communication with an internal battery. The processor receives an indication that the internal battery is receiving power from an external power supply. The processor determines a first output current of the internal battery. An error is generated indicating the internal battery receives insufficient power from the external power supply. The error indicates the external power supply is faulty in response to the internal battery intermittently discharging while receiving a power from the external power supply.
