    Abstract: A method, a communication device and a computer program product for selecting an active camera from a front facing camera and a rear facing camera for use during a video communication session. The method includes receiving, via a processor, first communication input associated with a non-video communication session. In response to detecting a switch from the non-video communication session to a video communication session, a first context is determined at the communication device based on the first communication input. The first context is associated with using an active camera selected at the communication device to capture and share video data with the second communication device. The selected active camera is one of the front facing camera and the rear facing camera. The method further includes selecting, as the active camera, one of the front facing camera or the rear facing camera that is associated with the first context.

In response to the number of screens being equal to or less than a first threshold number of screens, the controller generates a static screen shot image of the electronic page. In response to the number of screens being greater, the controller generates a dynamic screen shot image that automatically scrolls or page flips through the entirety of the electronic page.

The described implementations enable automatic focus of a video feed to a particular focal region based on facial features of the individual. For instance, a visual feature such as pupillary distance or pupil size is determined from a video feed. A focal distance is calculated based on the visual feature, e.g., indicating a region that the individual is focused on. A modified video stream is then generated based on the focal distance, for instance to focus the video stream to a specific focal plane.

The method includes presenting a preview of the video image on the display device with the remaining portion of the video image mirrored within the preview and at least the DOP segment presented without mirroring in a correct spatial location relative to the remaining portion of the video image. The embodiment determines the tree's species by comparing the contour line to candidate contour lines of different tree species and calculates a diameter of the tree's crown using the contour line. The embodiment estimates the tree's height using the species and the diameter of the crown. The embodiment calculates a risk value for the tree based on a risk of contact between the power line and the tree and issues a work order to maintain the tree to prevent contact with the power line.

When the credit count is adjusted beyond a request issue threshold, a next data access request is issued from a memory access request queue for the respective partition ID.
