  • Patent number: 11080124
Abstract: An information handling system includes a memory controller with an error logger, and a DIMM coupled to the memory controller via a memory channel. The DIMM includes a non-volatile memory device mapped to include event blocks that store error information associated with memory events occurring the memory controller, the DIMM, and the memory channel. Each event block includes a flag field and a data field. The error logger receives an indication that a memory event has occurred, reads first flag information from a flag field of an event block, determines whether the event block is locked based upon the first flag information, and if the event block is not locked, then writes second flag information to the flag field and writes event information to a data field of the event block. The event information describes the memory event.

  • Publication number: 20200372022
Abstract: Techniques for implementing a non-relational database that makes efficient use of collections within the database. For one or more collections, two or more sub-collections can be created for storing documents. Each collection can be configured as a single partition entity or a partitioned entity within the database. Each sub-collection is identified by a sub-collection identifier. If the collection is configured as a partitioned entity, then a partition key can be determined for documents to be accessed in the collection. The partition key can be extended with the sub-collection ID to form a compound property (sub-collection ID, partition key) that determines placements of the respective documents in the identified sub-collection across partitions of the collection. If the collection is configured as a single partition entity, then a field for the partition key is ignored and the respective documents are placed in the identified sub-collection within the single partition of the collection.

  • Patent number: 10532929
Abstract: A contact process, sulfuric acid system and method are disclosed for producing sulphuric acid with improved operating efficiency in humid environments. The system comprises a pre-drying absorber for pre-drying humid air with weak sulfuric acid. Weak sulfuric acid from the pre-drying absorber is provided to a subsystem comprising two sulfur trioxide absorbers and a heat exchanger for the recovery of heat via steam production. This arrangement allows for a marked increase in steam production (i.e. energy efficiency). In a separate improvement, the emission apparatus for the system can be simplified using a peroxide tail gas scrubber comprising upper and lower scrubber sections in which the upper scrubber section consists essentially of tray type scrubbers.

  • Publication number: 20190313960
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for classifying a PTSD status. In an embodiment, an example method for using a classifier can comprise receiving information from electrocardiography performed on an individual; determining features from the information; comparing the features to the a logistic regression classifier trained using features determined from median quiescent segments of RR interval information from individuals with and without PTSD, wherein the median quiescent segments are non-overlapping time periods of lowest median HR for each individual, and the features include one or more of the following: deceleration capacity (DC), low frequency (LF) power, very low frequency (VLF) power, and standard deviation of all normal RR intervals (SDNN); and determining a posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) status of the individual based on the comparison of the features to the classifier, wherein the PTSD status is a severity of PTSD based on a probability of PTSD.

  • Publication number: 20180344985
Abstract: The present invention is a simple-to-use IV placement assist device with an added safety feature. A catheter advancer is slidably integrated with a base to guide advancement of a catheter linearly along the insertion path of the needle and catheter. A safety feature is engaged by a movable component moving from a first position to a second position, such movable enabling relative movement between the base and catheter advancer and/or catheter assembly, rotation of the needle about its length axis, and/or minor advancement of the catheter assembly to sheath the tip of the needle. The IV placement assist device stabilizes and guides the critical needle insertion and catheter advancement steps of a complication-prone and very common procedure.
