Publication number: 20240134751Abstract: A network device may execute a master application shared with another network device via a session, and may receive, by a backup application replication kernel, a replicated data object. The backup application replication kernel may provide the replicated data object to a backup application, and may calculate a time delta between when the replicated data object is received and when the replicated data object is consumed by the backup application. The backup application replication kernel may determine whether the time delta exceeds a first threshold or a second threshold, and may generate a session flag based on the time delta exceeding the first threshold or the second threshold. The backup application replication kernel may provide the session flag to a master application replication kernel and to the backup application, and the master application replication kernel may provide details of the session to the master application and the backup application.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 29, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Amit ARORA, Erin C. Patent number: 11960382Abstract: The disclosure describes techniques that enable detection of memory leaks of software executing on devices within a computer network. An example network device includes memory and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry monitors a usage of the memory by a software component operating within the network device. The processing circuitry periodically determines a memory growth pattern score for the software component based on the usage of the memory. The processing circuitry also predicts whether the user-level process is experiencing a memory leak based on the memory growth pattern score. The processing circuitry applies confirmation criteria to current memory usage of the software component to confirm that the software component is experiencing the memory leak. When the software component is experiencing the memory leak, the processing circuitry generates an alert.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 2022Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Juniper Networks, Inc.Inventors: Prateek Halwe, Amit Arora, Harmeet Singh, Rahul Chandra Khali

Patent number: 11927794Abstract: A lightweight stacked optical waveguide using two plastic substrates having nano-structure gratings and a single glass substrate sandwiched between them. The nano-structure gratings face each other, and are each encapsulated within the optical waveguide. The two plastic substrates are each adhesively secured to the central glass substrate rather than to each other to provide sufficient securing strength and precisely establish and maintain an air gap between the substrates. The thickness of the plastic substrates and the glass substrate are selected such that the stacked optical waveguide is lightweight, but also has sufficient drop performance. The stacked optical waveguide can be efficiently manufactured as the adhesive bonds a plastic substrate to a glass substrate.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 2023Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: SNAP INC.Inventors: David Fliszar, Amit Singh

Publication number: 20240070204Abstract: A current set of context features for a database query that is associated with a string is identified. The database query includes a sequence of tokens of a database syntax, and the current set of context features includes words from the string and tokens from the database query. An inference record is selected from an inference store based on a comparison of the current set of context features to context features of inference records in the inference store. The database query is modified using a resolution of the inference record to obtain an inferred database query. The resolution includes one or more tokens of the database syntax. A search of a database is invoked using a query based on the inferred database query to obtain search results.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Amit Prakash, Ravi Tandon, Manikanta Venkata Rahul Balakavi, Pavan Ram Piratla, Ashish Shubham, Alonzo Canada, Rakesh Kothari, Maneesh Apte, Amitabh Singhal, Aditya Viswanathan, Ajeet Singh

Patent number: 11899283Abstract: Eyewear including a see-through display including an optical waveguide module and one or more integrated antennas. In one example, the antenna is disposed on one of the non-active waveguide substrates, which non-active waveguide substrates are used as encapsulants to protect the waveguide active layer from environmental factors and do not have an active optical function in the waveguide operation. In another example, the antenna is disposed on one of the active waveguide substrate surfaces opposite another active waveguide substrate. As a result, there is a large lee-way available in patterning desired antenna shapes, length, and area on these surfaces using optically transparent, high conductivity materials. The antenna is not subject to some design constraints and compromises.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2021Date of Patent: February 13, 2024Assignee: Snap Inc.Inventors: Ugur Olgun, Amit Singh

Patent number: 11853669Abstract: A logic block can be relocated without recompilation from a first area to a second area on a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) if the pattern of fabric tiles in the second area is the same as the pattern of fabric tiles in the first area, and if the two areas have the same dimensions. The design system runs synthesis, placement, and routing on a partition of a design at a first location, exports that partition to a persistent on-disk database, imports one or multiple copies of the partition into a larger design, and moves one or more of the copies from the first area to a target area in the larger design. The compatibility of the second area may be identified based on fabric tile signatures of the first area and the second area.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2021Date of Patent: December 26, 2023Assignee: Achronix Semiconductor CorporationInventors: Michael Riepe, Kamal Choundhary, Amit Singh, Shirish Jawale, Karl Koehler, Simon Longcroft, Scott Senst, Clark Hilbert, Kent Orthner

Patent number: 11838176Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a method for providing automated admission control services for a RAN system. The method receives a trigger alert that includes an application identifier for an application, a dRIC identifier associated with a dRIC to which the application is to be deployed, and a set of configurations for the application that are in a first format. The method converts the set of configurations from the first format to a second format and sends the set configurations in the second format to an FCAPS management pod deployed to the dRIC. Upon receiving positive acknowledgment indicating successful implementation of the set of configurations from the FCAPS management pod, the method updates a configuration table stored in a database of the RAN with a set of admissions control information for the application. The method sends a notification to an API server for the RAN indicating the set of configurations have been successfully implemented for the application.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 2023Date of Patent: December 5, 2023Assignee: VMWARE, INC.Inventors: Gauresh Dilip Vanjare, Amit Singh

Patent number: 11836551Abstract: To provide a low latency near RT RIC, some embodiments separate the RIC's functions into several different components that operate on different machines (e.g., execute on VMs or Pods) operating on the same host computer or different host computers. Some embodiments also provide high speed interfaces between these machines. Some or all of these interfaces operate in non-blocking, lockless manner in order to ensure that critical near RT RIC operations (e.g., datapath processes) are not delayed due to multiple requests causing one or more components to stall. In addition, each of these RIC components also has an internal architecture that is designed to operate in a non-blocking manner so that no one process of a component can block the operation of another process of the component. All of these low latency features allow the near RT RIC to serve as a high speed IO between the E2 nodes and the xApps.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 2022Date of Patent: December 5, 2023Assignee: VMWARE, INC.Inventors: Giridhar Subramani Jayavelu, Amit Singh
