  • Publication number: 20100296645
Abstract: Conserving call logic during handoff may be provided. First, a call may be received at a first server. Next, the first server may determine that it cannot handle the call. Then the call may be transferred by the first server to a second server with enough information so that the second server can take up the call where the first server left off. Transferring the call to the second server with enough information so that the second server can take the call up where the first server left off may comprise placing the information in a REFERRED-BY header and sending the REFERRED-BY header to the second server.

  • Publication number: 20100298787
Abstract: A closed system for surgical limb prep has: a two-layered construction, including an inner layer and a top layer; or a three-layered construction, including an inner layer, an intermediate layer, and a top layer. The inner layer fits over and engages the limb of the patient, and the inner layer also serves as storage medium for a topical antiseptic or other prep fluid. The intermediate layer, if present, is positioned over the inner layer and is preferably made of a substantially waterproof or fluid-resistant material. The top layer covers the other layer(s) and includes one or more strips of adhesive that can be used to secure the top layer to the limb of the patient, effectively sealing and closing the system about the limb of the patient. A circular band, which is preferably elastic, can then be moved up and down over the external surface of the top layer to apply pressure to the inner layer and spread the prep fluid over the skin of the patient.

  • Publication number: 20100296724
Abstract: A method estimates a 3D pose of a 3D specular object in an environment. In a preprocessing step, a set of pairs of 2D reference images are generated using a 3D model of the object, and a set of poses of the object, wherein each pair of reference images is associated with one of the poses. Then, a pair of 2D input images are acquired of the object. A rough 3D pose of the object is estimated by comparing features in the pair of 2D input images and the features in each pair of 2D reference images using a rough cost function. The rough estimate is optionally refined using a fine cost function.

  • Patent number: 7838441
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for forming a titanium nitride barrier material on a substrate is provided which includes depositing a titanium nitride layer on the substrate by a metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) process, and thereafter, densifying the titanium nitride layer by exposing the substrate to a plasma process. In one example, the MOCVD process and the densifying plasma process is repeated to form a barrier stack by depositing a second titanium nitride layer on the first titanium nitride layer. In another example, a third titanium nitride layer is deposited on the second titanium nitride layer. Subsequently, the method provides depositing a conductive material on the substrate and exposing the substrate to a annealing process. In one example, each titanium nitride layer may have a thickness of about 15 ? and the titanium nitride barrier stack may have a copper diffusion potential of less than about 5×1010 atoms/cm2.

  • Patent number: 7839796
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving label data that indicates all interface labels that belong to each path ID of multiple path IDs associated with corresponding multiple paths between provider edge nodes in a Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network. Each interface label is associated with a network interface on a node in the MPLS network. Based on the label data, an untested list that holds data that indicates all unique interface labels is generated. A tested interface selected from the untested list is scheduled for testing. After scheduling, the interface label of the tested interface is removed from the untested list. It is determined whether the untested list still includes data for at least one interface label. If not, then a test of the MPLS network is completed without testing every path end to end, thus conserving network resources.

  • Patent number: 7840551
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system for automatically classifying data in a database. During operation, the system receives and executes a database operation. Next, the system automatically determines if any data was modified as a result of executing the database operation. If so, for each data item that was modified, the system automatically determines if the data item is associated with a classification-rule. If so, the system automatically reclassifies the data item according to the classification-rule. If not, the system leaves a classification of the data item unchanged.

  • Publication number: 20100290602
Abstract: A method and a system for providing commercial information (CI) messages as a ring-back tone (RBT) to a caller in an inter-operator telecommunication system are provided. In the inter-operator telecommunication system, the caller and the callee are registered to different telecommunication service providers. The second telecommunication service provider sends a request to the first telecommunication service provider to provide a CI id associated with a caller profile of the caller. The request is routed through a global broker. An RBT player of the second telecommunication service provider plays the CI message corresponding to the CI id as ring-back tone to the caller.
