    Abstract: A method (600) for tuning a tunable laser (310) includes delivering a bias current (IDBR) to an anode of a distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) section diode (D2) disposed on a shared substrate of the tunable laser and receiving a burst mode signal (440) indicative of a burst-on state or a burst-off state. When the burst mode signal is indicative of the burst-off state, the method includes offsetting the bias current at the anode of the DBR section diode by one of sourcing a push current with the bias current to the anode of the DBR section diode or sinking a pull current away from the bias current at the anode of the DBR section diode. When the burst mode signal is indicative of the burst-on state, the method also includes ceasing any offsetting of the bias current at the anode of the DBR section diode.

    Abstract: Aspects are provided which improve RLM by allowing a UE to apply a longer monitoring window for out-of-sync determinations before the UE triggers an RLM timer for in-sync determinations. The UE first obtains a reference signal from a base station. The UE then determines multiple groups of consecutive out-of-sync indications in response to the reference signal. For example, the UE may perform looped out-of-sync monitoring, multi-cell or carrier monitoring, or a combination of such monitoring to determine the multiple groups of out-of-sync indications. Afterwards, the UE triggers the RLM timer in response to determining the multiple groups of consecutive out-of-sync indications. As a result, the UE may perform additional out-of-sync monitoring during RLM before proceeding with in-sync monitoring, thus allowing the UE to account for rapid BLER changes (ping-pong effects) that may occur in HAPS systems due to tropospheric turbulence and enabling more accurate RLM determinations and minimal RLF detections.

The method comprises: obtaining a decoupled particle vibration velocity vector wave field by utilizing the existing decoupled wave equation method for the detected wave field; then obtaining a decoupled pseudo-stress wave field by constructing the decoupled pseudo-stress equation by using the obtained decoupled particle vibration velocity vector wave field; and finally computing a source second-order stress tensor wave field and the decoupled detected second-order stress tensor wave field by using the double-dot product cross-correlation imaging condition algorithm, to obtain the final scalar imaging results. With the embodiment of the present disclosure, the combined P-wave and S-wave stress exploration can be realized, therefore, the obtained imaging results can be used to accurately predict the risk of gas exploration.
