    Abstract: A method and apparatus for simulating breakdown of an electronic component are provided. The method includes: when a terminal of an equivalent circuit model receives test charges, pulling up a voltage level of a first node of the equivalent circuit model; when the voltage level of the first node reaches a first threshold, turning on a first voltage controlled switch to pull up a voltage level of a second node of the equivalent circuit model; when the voltage level of the second mode reaches a second threshold, turning on a second voltage controlled switch to pull down a voltage level of the terminal to a holding voltage level to simulate snapback breakdown of the electronic component; and turning on a third voltage controlled switch to pull down the voltage level of the second node to turn off the second voltage controlled switch, thereby simulating second breakdown of the electronic component.

The encoded data for the first data set may be combined with the encoded data for the second data set so as to produce drive signals for a dual-drive modulator using a combination of both a common-mode and differential signal. The secondary circuit includes a first secondary half-bridge including a first controllable switch and a second secondary half-bridge including a second controllable switch connected in parallel. The method includes: controlling a duty ratio of one of the first controllable switch and the second controllable switch in a first switching period to form a first short-circuited loop during a first interval during; and controlling a duty ratio of the other one in a second switching period to form a second short-circuited loop during a second interval.

    Abstract: A compensation structure for reducing circulating current in a window of a transformer, the transformer having a winding, a metal frame and leads located at one side of the frame and spaced apart from the frame. The frame has borders and an iron core located inside a window enclosed by the borders. The winding is provided around the iron core, wherein the compensation structure includes at least one compensator on the borders of the frame. The compensator is made of silicon steel sheets of a magnetic material, and the compensator separates at least a part of the borders of the frame from a part of the leads. The compensation structure separates iron structures between a high-voltage side and a low-voltage side, increases the impedance between the window circuit of the frame and the current circuit of external leads, thereby reducing the induced current within the frame and avoiding harmful effects.
