  • Patent number: 12182822
Abstract: Systems and methods for converting unstructured text messages into usable order details. Component parts corresponding to structure and quote data indicative of a transaction are parsed from unstructured text messages. The parsing includes matching character strings in the messages with a hierarchy of expressions and identifying the component parts based on the matching and a transaction deal status. The unstructured text messages are displayed in a first window of a graphical user interface (GUI) in real-time including automatically highlighting the identified component parts of the messages and displaying a selectable web link configured to launch a web interface. The identified component parts are displayed in a second window of the GUI in a normalized format in real-time. An editable order ticket comprising the component parts is created upon selection of the selectable web link in the first window and displayed in a newly launched web interface.

  • Patent number: 12178352
Abstract: An apparatus and method for brewing coffee of high quality and better taste while also enabling users to utilize less coffee grounds per brewing cycle, thereby achieving significant cost savings. A basket that houses a packet of coffee grounds is housed within a carafe that stores water. The basket is fabricated so that water may enter therein and exit therefrom, and the packet of coffee grounds enables water and natural coffee oils to penetrate the packet, but does not allow coffee grounds to escape the packet. The carafe is filled with water that is gradually heated from at or around tap temperature to approximately boiling. While the water in the chamber is heated, the basket is agitated. This causes the gradually heating water to enter the basket and agitate the packet, thereby extracting natural coffee oil from the grounds stored within the packet, which creates brewed coffee.

  • Patent number: 12181534
Abstract: A method and a device for testing a battery state determines if a battery is faulty. A first impedance test is conducted to determine the internal resistance of the battery, wherein the battery is energized with an electrical current flow with a certain frequency and a resulting voltage response of the battery is measured. A load high-current test of the battery with a test pulse HRD test is conducted next. Then, a second impedance test is conducted. The measurement results of the tests are recorded and stored, and then evaluated by arranging such results offset in relation to one another, in such a way that the battery state can be derived therefrom, in particular whether the battery is faulty.

  • Patent number: 12183166
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods for increasing or otherwise enhancing gaming awards based on correctly predicted occurrences. In a poker context, a prediction of an occurrence may be made, such as predicting a characteristic of a poker card. The prediction is compared to a random selection among a plurality of available items, such as comparing the predicted characteristic of the poker card to a random selection among a plurality of poker card characteristics. Where the prediction is correct, the player may be awarded with enhanced payouts on current and/or future game plays, and in some embodiments concurrent correct predictions results in increasingly higher enhanced payouts.
