  • Publication number: 20230044266
Abstract: A computer divides a character string included in text data into a plurality of tokens. The computer searches, by performing matching processing between a token string indicating a specific number of consecutive tokens among the plurality of tokens and dictionary information including a plurality of named entities, the plurality of named entities for a similar named entity whose similarity to the token string is equal to or more than a threshold. The computer converts matching information indicating a result of the matching processing between the token string and the similar named entity into first vector data. The computer generates input data by using a plurality of pieces of vector data converted from the plurality of tokens and the first vector data. The computer generates a named entity recognition model that detects a named entity by performing machine learning using the input data.

  • Patent number: 11022330
Abstract: A three-way heat exchanger for a liquid desiccant air-conditioning system and method of manufacture. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of panel assemblies. Each panel assembly has a frame bordering a given space. The frame includes desiccant inlet and outlet ports and heat transfer fluid inlet and outlet ports. Two plates joined to the frame define a heat transfer fluid channel in the given space. The heat transfer fluid inlet and outlet ports are in fluid communication with the heat transfer fluid channel. Microporous sheets cover the outer surfaces of the plates and define a desiccant channel. The desiccant inlet and outlet ports are in fluid communication with the desiccant channel. The plurality of panel assemblies have a stacked arrangement such that a microporous sheet on one panel assembly faces a microporous sheet on an adjacent panel assembly and defines an airflow channel therebetween.

  • Patent number: 5434870
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for verifying the authenticity of a circuit board incorporated in a system. The method employs signal representing a unique identifier, such as a serial number and an associated error check code, to identify the circuit board. The identifier signal is passed from the circuit board to the system when the circuit board is initialized. To verify that a circuit board is authentic, the error check code (ECC) represented in the second part of the circuit board's identifier signal is verified. If the ECC is not correct then the circuit board is left unused. Next, the first part of the identifier signal (e.g. the serial number) is compared to the identifier signals for all other circuit boards mounted within the system. If a match of any two identifier signals is found, all circuit boards associated with the common identifier signal are left unused. If no duplicates are found and the ECC was correct, the circuit board is permitted to function.
