    Abstract: A fault determination system of a button-type shifter is provided. The system maximally guarantees the operation of a shift button while determining a failure of the shift button and improves reliability and fault diagnosis performance for the shift button. The system includes a base that is installed within a vehicle and includes shift buttons and contact points for each of the shift buttons. A controller receives contact signals from the contact points to thus determine a failure of the shift button when any one of the contact points is not sensed or is stuck when the shift button is engaged.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for determining a yield of a circuit in semiconductor manufacturing. In one embodiment, a computer implemented method includes performing a first pass of Monte Carlo simulations of the circuit to identify a plurality of failed sampling points in a high sigma region of a statistical distribution, partitioning the plurality of failed sampling points into a plurality of clusters based on angular separation of the plurality of failed sampling points, determining a boundary of each cluster in the plurality of clusters, performing sensitivity analysis from the boundary of the each cluster to identify an estimated closest failed sampling point associated with the each cluster, and performing a second pass of Monte Carlo simulations of the circuit to determine the yield of the circuit using the estimated closest failed sampling point associated with the each cluster and the boundary of each cluster in the plurality of clusters.

    Abstract: In one aspect, disclosed herein are devices, systems, and methods for assessing human health states based on non-shadow imaging of sclera, or whites, of one or both eyes. In one aspect, the device is an on-body device. In one aspect, the system comprises a positioning aperture, an illuminating apparatus, an imaging apparatus, and/or a processing apparatus. In one aspect, the process only takes a short period of time to take images of the sclera without any operation of splicing multiple images. In one aspect, the device or system improves the quality of images by avoiding the formation of reflection of the illuminating apparatus on the images of the sclera. In a further aspect, the system can utilize the sclera images to obtain information of eye diseases and to predict the physiological and pathological changes in the health status of subject or diagnostic results, which can provide helpful information for medical diagnosis.
