  • Publication number: 20120066532
Abstract: An electronic device includes a dynamic memory, a static memory, a detection unit, a copy unit and a set unit. The dynamic memory stores an interrupt monitoring program. The interrupt monitoring program monitors whether an interrupt request is generated, and generates an interrupt signal when the interrupt request is generated. The detection unit detects whether the electronic device needs to enter a sleep mode, and generates a detection signal if the electronic device needs to enter the sleep mode. The copy unit copies the interrupt monitoring program from the dynamic memory to the static memory in response to the detection signal, and runs the interrupt monitoring program in the static memory for monitoring whether an interrupt signal is generated. The set unit sets the dynamic memory into a self-refresh mode in response to the detection signal.

  • Publication number: 20120007627
Abstract: A probe head of vertical probe card and a manufacturing method of a composite board thereof are provided. The probe head includes guide plate, composite board, and probe pin. The composite board includes first board layer and second board layer which are laminated together by joining operation. The composite board further includes through hole which is made by drilling and passed all the way through the first board layer and the second board layer. The friction coefficient of the first board layer is less than that of the second board layer, and the thermal expansion coefficient of the second board layer is less than that of the first board layer. The probe pin is penetrated all the way through the through hole of the composite board. By this, friction between the probe pin and composite board is reduced so as to stabilize the position of the probe pin.

  • Patent number: 7965213
Abstract: An element-selecting method is utilized for selecting the converting elements of the DAC to perform the digital-to-analog conversion. The element-selecting method first determines whether the selected times of the converting elements are all equal or not. When the selected times of the converting elements are all equal, the element-selecting method determines a shifting-step according to the input signal and the number of the converting elements; otherwise, the element-selecting method determines the shifting-step to be a predetermined value. The element-selecting method then selects a converting element from the DAC by means of separating the converting element from a last selected converting element by the shifting-step. In this way, the error accumulated because of the mismatch of the converting elements is eliminated, and the toggle rate of the DAC is reduced. Hence, the glitch and the dynamic errors of the DAC are reduced, improving the performance of the DAC.
