  • Patent number: 10790057
Abstract: A system and method for transmitting medical data. In one embodiment, a computer system receives filter criteria from a user of a first computer. Furthermore, the computer system may receive schedule information defining a schedule for checking for medical data. Depending on the embodiment, either the computer system or a remote server periodically selects, based upon the received schedule, medical data satisfying the received user-specific rules. The selected medical data is then transmitted to the computer system.

  • Patent number: 10396976
    Abstract: A system for producing a public ring that is fully homomorphically encrypted. The system comprises a processor which generates a first presentation G of a ring, wherein G=x, y|x2=0, y2=0, xy+(p+1)yx=1, where x and y are generators and p is a first private prime number. The system further generates a second presentation H of the ring. H is defined as follows: H=x, y, t|x2=0, y2=0, t=m1yx, xy+m2yx+t=1. In addition, m1 and m2 are positive integers and p+1=m1+m2, wherein t is a generator and the first presentation G and the second presentation H are isomorphic. The system further produces a public ring ? that is fully homomorphically encrypted, where: H ^ = ? x , y , t ? N ยท 1 = 1 , x 2 = 1 , y 2 = 0 , xyx = x , yxy = y , tx = 0 , yt = 0 , t 2 = t + m 2 2 - m 2 m 1 ? tyx ? , N=pq and further, q is a second private prime number, and the public ring ? is further, publically available. A corresponding method is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20190256311
Abstract: A method and the required apparatus for carrying out the manual application of a pre-set length of tape to seal a carton that uses a tape hold down and a tape dispenser. The tape dispenser stops the movement of tape being pulled therefrom when the desired pre-set length of tape has been dispensed and which is cut to provide a free tape portion is used to provide the tape portion that is to be applied manually to seal the carton. The flaps of the carton being sealed are held in place when the tape portion is being applied by a U-shaped flap holder formed by a pair of L-shaped legs that are spaced to permit application of the tape portion to the carton between the legs when the flap folder is in position holding the flaps closed.

  • Patent number: 10324602
Abstract: The systems and methods of the present disclosure may provide, among other features, easy-to-learn, efficient, and/or unambiguous methods for controlling rotation and/or other manipulation of multi-dimensional (for example, 2D and/or 3D) images and/or objects. The systems and methods may be used for any type of image display/manipulation on a wide variety of computer systems and coupled displays including personal computers with monitors, phones, tablets, and televisions. In general, a user may select a particular rotation plane (for example, rotation only in x axis) by placement of a cursor, or touch of a finger, over a certain portion of the image such that subsequent movements of the mouse result in only rotations in the particular plane, and unwanted rotations and/or other manipulations in other planes do not occur. In this way, the user can more precisely control rotations of the 3D image and/or object.

  • Patent number: 10168692
Abstract: The embodiments described herein relate to methods, systems, and computer program products for improving the product quality of product lots produced on a production line. A quality value for each product lot is determined, and a quality benchmark is established. Each product lot is classified based on the quality benchmark. Product lots that have a quality value meeting the quality benchmark are classified as quality lots, and product lots having a quality value failing to meet the quality benchmark are classified as failing lots. Tools used in the production of the product lots are identified, which includes identifying a set of quality tools and a set of failing tools. Routing of additional product lots is directed by shifting production at least substantially to the set of quality tools.

  • Patent number: 10152281
Abstract: A method of transparently inserting a virtual storage layer into a Fiber channel based storage area network (SAN) while maintaining continuous I/O operations is provided. A device is inserted between a host entity and a first storage device. The device identifies a plurality of first paths between the host entity and the first storage device, and defines a plurality of second paths by defining, for each first path among the plurality of first paths, a corresponding second path between the host entity and a second storage device. The device determines, for each of the plurality of first paths, a respective first state. The device establishes, for each of the second paths among the plurality of second paths, a second state based on the first state of the corresponding first path. The device redirects, to the second storage device, communications directed from the host entity to the first storage device, via the plurality of second paths.

  • Publication number: 20180313213
Abstract: A technique facilitates detection and analysis of constituents, e.g. chemicals, which may be found in formation fluids and/or other types of fluids. The technique comprises intermittently introducing a first fluid and a second fluid into a channel in a manner which forms slugs of the first fluid separated by the second fluid. The intermittent fluids are flowed through the channel to create a mixing action which mixes the fluid in the slugs. The mixing increases the exchange, e.g. transfer, of the chemical constituent between the second fluid and the first fluid. The exchange aids in sensing an amount of the chemical or chemicals for analysis. In many applications, the intermittent introduction, mixing, and measuring can be performed in a subterranean environment.
