  • Publication number: 20150337930
Abstract: An electric actuator assembly comprises a main actuator including a gear set containing a stepped friction portion located on a gear shaft of a drive gear thereof, an extension rod, and a power drive for rotating the gear set to move the extension rod through a lead screw, and a one-way bearing consisting of an inner race fitted to the gear shaft of the drive gear, an outer race surrounding the inner race, and a backstop mechanism mounted in between. When operating the power drive to rotate the gear set in lifting the extension rod, the inner race is rotated by the gear set relative to the outer race in one direction. When the driving power is off, the one-way bearing cannot rotate in reverse direction, the stepped friction portion is abutted against the flat contact surface of the inner race to produce a braking effect, preventing falling of the load that is supported on the main actuator.

  • Patent number: 8299957
Abstract: A method for detecting a vehicle type, a vehicle speed and width of a detecting area by a vehicle radar sensor is disclosed. A radio wave is transmitted to a tracked vehicle. Subsequently, the reflective radio wave from the vehicle is received. The Doppler frequency versus time distribution is generated from the reflective radio wave. Because the reflective radio wave is influenced by the Doppler Effect, a parallelogram or a shape close to a parallelogram of a consecutive motion diagram is shown in the Doppler frequency versus time distribution of the vehicle. According to the consecutive motion diagram, certain information, such as the length and speed of the tracked vehicle and the width of the detecting area, can be acquired.

Abstract: A package structure of a light emitting diode for a backlight comprises a long-wavelength LED die and a short-wavelength LED die. The lights emitted from the two LED dies are mixed with the light emitted from excited fluorescent powders for serving as the backlight of a liquid crystal display. A partition plate is disposed between the two LED dies for separating them from each other. The effective light output of the package structure is increased because each of the two LED dies cannot absorb the light from the other.

  • Publication number: 20120190924
Abstract: A flexible interlocking structure for a handheld endoscope includes a flexible rod having an interlocking unit connected to its one end. The interlocking unit includes front, middle and rear joints each having a hollow portion. Each joint is formed with at least two guiding holes, locking tabs and locking notches. The engagement between the locking tabs and the locking notches of the adjacent joints constitutes the interlocking unit. Both ends of the flexible rod are connected to a handle portion and an inspection module respectively. A transmission cable and driving wires are disposed through the hollow portions and the guiding holes in such a manner that they are located between the inspection module and the handle portion. By operating a steering device of the handle portion, the driving wires pulls the front joints to cause the interlocking unit to bend accordingly, thereby controlling the rotation of the inspection module.
