    Abstract: A computer-implemented method for detecting anomalies in DNS requests comprises receiving a plurality of DNS requests generated within a predetermined period. The predetermined period includes a plurality of DNS data fragments. The method further includes receiving a first DNS request and selecting a plurality of second DNS requests from the plurality of DNS requests such that each of the second DNS requests is a subset of the first DNS request. The method also includes calculating a count value for each of the DNS data fragments, where each of the count values represents a number of instances the second DNS requests appear within one of the DNS data fragments. In some embodiments, the count values for each of the DNS data fragments can be normalized. The method further includes determining an anomaly trend, for example, based on determining that at least one of the count values exceeds a predetermined threshold value.

    Abstract: Presented are systems and methods that allow hardware designers to protect valuable IP and information in the hardware domain in order to increase overall system security. In various embodiments of the invention this is accomplished by configuring logic gates of existing logic circuitry based on a key input. In certain embodiments, a logic function provides results that are dependent not only on input values but also on an encrypted logic key that determines connections for a given logic building block, such that the functionality of the logic function cannot be determined by reverse engineering. In some embodiments, the logic key is created by decrypting a piece of data using a secret or private key. Advantages of automatic encryption include that existing circuitry need not be re-implemented or re-built, and that the systems and methods presented are backward compatible with standard manufacturing tools.

    Abstract: A composition of matter suitable for use as a road marking substance and a method thereof provides for the steps of mixing a binder mixture with a filler mixture, heating the mixed ingredients while mixing into a homogenous molten mixture and then extruding the molten mixture. The extruded material is cooled, cut into individual pellets, coated with an anti-clumping coating and packaged for use in making a road marking substance in situ. The binder can be alkyd-based or hydrocarbon based. The binder includes rosin resins, wax and a plasticizer, and a hydrocarbon resin is added for the hydrocarbon-based binder. The filler contains titanium dioxide, a pigment (if necessary) and ground calcium carbonate.

A second router provides wireless access to a second part of the same, shared system via the technique known as broadband-over-power line (BPL). In the second part, a first BPL unit is carried by the proximal end of an electrical conductor for receiving and sending signals between it and distal, second BPL unit on the same electrical conductor. The use of separate routers with different addresses and a power line to transmit and receive data to confine the wireless portion of the second part of the system to a smaller area increase the physical security of wireless communications with the second part, making it less likely data communications taking place in the second part will be accessed by others.
