  • Patent number: 12294876
Abstract: A method for determining a reliability of a wireless device to estimate its location under a simulated environmental condition includes simulating an environmental condition inside a test chamber by controlling a physical parameter. The test chamber contains the wireless user device configured to estimate a location of the wireless user device based on reference signals received from a signal source. The method includes communicating a pattern of reference signals having varying signal propagation characteristics in the test chamber. The method includes receiving an indication of an estimated location calculated by the wireless user device based on the pattern of reference signals. The reliability of the wireless device to estimate its location under the simulated environmental condition is determined based on a comparison of the estimated location with the simulated location.

  • Publication number: 20250138843
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product aspects, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for reducing prompt-based interruptions for a user of a media device having an operating system (OS). An example aspect operates by configuring a user interface (UI) of an OS based on a first-user OS profile corresponding to a first user, wherein the first-user OS profile is associated with a unique identifier of the first user. The embodiment receives a command to launch a first application. The embodiment, in response to receiving the command, determines that a unique identifier of a most recent active profile used on the media device matches the unique identifier of the first user. The embodiment, in response to the determining, configures a UI of the first application based on the most recent active profile. The embodiment then outputs the UI of the first application.

  • Publication number: 20250138863
Abstract: A method for monitoring a file system within a distributed network is provided. From a local hosting environment having a native scanning tool, creation of a new data store within the network is detected. Responsive to detecting creation of the new data store, it is determined whether the new data store is physically located within a foreign hosting environment that is communicatively coupled to the local hosting environment through a non-private network. If the new data store is physically located within the foreign hosting environment, an agent of the native scanning tool is created within the foreign hosting environment and the agent is applied to the new data store within the foreign hosting environment to obtain sensitivity information for the new data store. The sensitivity information for the new data store is received and recorded in the local hosting environment.
