Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods for manufacturing semiconductor devices. One of the methods forms a string of transistors in a semiconductor device over a substrate of the semiconductor device. The method includes forming a first substring of transistors having a first channel structure that includes a first channel layer and a first gate dielectric structure that extend along a vertical direction over the substrate. The method includes forming a channel connector over the first substring and forming the second substring above the channel connector. The second substring has a second channel structure. The second channel structure includes the second channel layer and a second gate dielectric structure that extend along the vertical direction. The second gate dielectric structure is formed above the channel connector. The channel connector electrically couples the first channel layer and the second channel layer.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method for reminding a replacement of a filter of a vacuum cleaner, including: obtaining a rotating speed difference of a motor within a set time interval; comparing, according to a working parameter of the vacuum cleaner, the rotating speed difference with a preset rotating speed difference threshold, to obtain a comparison result; and determining whether to remind a user to replace the filter according to the comparison result. With the method provided by the present disclosure, the vacuum cleaner may timely and automatically remind the user to replace the filter during the use of the vacuum cleaner, thereby reducing power loss, maintaining the normal use of the vacuum cleaner, and prolonging the service life of the motor.

Abstract: A device may include a display, a housing, a base, and a hinge operably coupling the display and the housing. The hinge may be moveable over a range of positions. One or more loudspeakers are disposed in the housing. A motor couples to the housing and is configured to rotate the housing and the display. The base is configured to remain stationary during actuation of the motor. In some instances, the device may include a camera and one or more microphones for determining a position of a user. The motor may actuate in a direction of the user to provide increase audio and/or visual experiences.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a system for parking a truck accurately in a shore crane area are provided. A vehicle controller transmits a parking request for a truck to be parked. A main controller receives the parking request and acquires real-time point cloud data by scanning one or more lanes crossed by a shore crane using one or more LiDARs. The main controller clusters the real-time point cloud data to obtain a set of point clouds for the truck and applies an Iterative Closest Point algorithm to the set of point clouds and a vehicle point cloud model to obtain a real-time distance from the truck to a target parking space. The vehicle controller controls the truck to stop at the target parking space based on the real-time distance.

The removable accessory may have an embedded switchable ferrimagnetic core and a coil that overlaps the switchable ferrimagnetic core. The switchable ferrimagnetic core may be operable in a first state where the switchable ferrimagnetic core is unsaturated. The switchable ferrimagnetic core may be operable in a second state where the switchable ferrimagnetic core is saturated by a magnetic field from a permanent magnet in a wireless power transmitting device. In the second state, the switchable ferrimagnetic core may have a lower magnetic permeability and higher magnetic reluctance than in the first state.

Abstract: Methods for pre-cleaning substrates having metal and dielectric surfaces are described. A temperature of a pedestal comprising a cooling feature on which a substrate is located is set to less than or equal to 100° C. The substrate is exposed to a plasma treatment to remove chemical residual and/or impurities from features of the substrate including a metal bottom, dielectric sidewalls, and/or a field of dielectric and/or repair surface defects in the dielectric sidewalls and/or the field of the dielectric. The plasma treatment may be an oxygen plasma, for example, a direct oxygen plasma. Processing tools and computer readable media for practicing the method are also described.

Abstract: Provided herein are amino acid compositions useful for increasing the translocation of the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance (CFTR) protein from the cytoplasm to the plasma membrane, particularly in epithelial cells. Methods for increasing the concentration of CFTR in the plasma membrane, increasing chloride ion transport, and increasing water transport are also provided. These compositions and methods are useful in treating cystic fibrosis in subjects bearing one or more mutations in the CFTR protein. Use of these compositions for the treatment of cystic fibrosis and in the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of cystic fibrosis are also encompassed herein.
