    Abstract: A memory array comprising strings of memory cells comprises a vertical stack comprising alternating insulative tiers and conductive tiers. Channel-material strings of memory cells are in the stack. The channel-material strings project upwardly from material of an uppermost of the tiers. A first insulator material is above the material of the uppermost tier directly against sides of channel material of the upwardly-projecting channel-material strings. The first insulator material comprises at least one of (a) and (b), where (a): silicon, nitrogen, and one or more of carbon, oxygen, boron, and phosphorus, and (b): silicon carbide. Second insulator material is above the first insulator material. The first and second insulator materials comprise different compositions relative one another. Conductive vias in the second insulator material are individually directly electrically coupled to individual of the channel-material strings. Other embodiments, including methods, are disclosed.

    Abstract: A network device includes memory with permanent storage. A request for information is received from a user device. In response to determining that an erasure encoded version of the requested information is not stored in the memory of the network device, the requested information is requested to be transmitted from a storage external to the network device and partially received. In response to determining that an amount of the partially received requested information does not satisfy an erasure encoding threshold, it is determined whether the erasure encoding threshold can be satisfied within a time duration. If so, the partially received requested information is erasure encoded, stored in the permanent storage, and transmitted. If not, the requested information is requested to be retransmitted from the storage external to the network device.

A proxy is deployed in the IPX network to intercept Session Create request and response messages exchanges between the home network and the visited network. The routing platform extracts Single-Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (S-NSSAI) attribute and uses this attribute and the geographic locations of the visited network and the home network to select a routing path in the IPX network having requisite QoS for the network slice use case. The routing platform uses layer-3 routing technique to anchor User Plane Function (UPF) Proxies deployed at different routing paths in the IPX network. Alternately, the routing platform uses layer-2 routing technique, with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) controller and SDN-switches to route traffic via the selected routing path in the IPX network.
