  • Publication number: 20200145268
Abstract: A boundary within a last orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol of a PHY data unit is determined. Pre-encoder padding bits are added to a set of information bits to generate a set of padded information bits such that the set of padded information bits, after being encoded, fill one or more OFDM symbols up to the boundary within the last OFDM symbol. The set of padded information bits are encoded to generate a set of coded bits. A PHY preamble is generated to include a subfield that indicates the boundary. The one or more OFDM symbols are generated to include (i) the set of coded information bits in the one or more OFDM symbols up to the boundary to allow a receiving device to stop decoding the one or more OFDM symbols at the boundary, and (ii) post-encoder padding bits in the last OFDM symbol following the boundary.

  • Publication number: 20200143531
Abstract: A photonic structural and chemometric pathology system for cancer and precancerous or general detection, diagnosis, monitoring and prognosis utilizes fresh or frozen tissue standard pathology sections without prior as staining or other labeling techniques. The unlabeled tissue section may be imaged, with a phase and fluorescence imaging microscope, to obtain phase differential contrast (Q-DIC) images and fluorescence images. The Q-DIC images are analyzed to generate two dimensional Q-DIC data maps, such as morphology, cell mass, and scattering characteristic digital image maps. The fluorescence images are analyzed to generate fluorescence intensity and tissue native fluorescent component absolute concentration maps. The combination of Q-DIC data maps and fluorescent component content maps is comparatively analyzed to perform cancer and pre-cancerous or general diagnosis and prognosis.

  • Publication number: 20200146063
Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more messages from a base station. The one or more messages comprise configuration parameters of a cell. The configuration parameters indicate: a radio link monitoring reference signal (RLM-RS), a plurality of reference signals (RSs), and a quasi-co-located (QCLed) indication for the RLM-RS. A radio link monitoring (RLM) measurement is performed on the RLM-RS. The wireless device determines that a downlink transmission failure of the RLM-RS is due to a listen before talk (LBT) procedure indicating a busy channel. In response to the downlink transmission failure, a replacement RS is determined from the plurality of RSs based on the QCLed indication for the RLM-RS. The RLM measurement is performed on the replacement RS.

  • Publication number: 20200143171
Abstract: In implementations of segmenting objects in video sequences, user annotations designate an object in any image frame of a video sequence, without requiring user annotations for all image frames. An interaction network generates a mask for an object in an image frame annotated by a user, and is coupled both internally and externally to a propagation network that propagates the mask to other image frames of the video sequence. Feature maps are aggregated for each round of user annotations and couple the interaction network and the propagation network internally. The interaction network and the propagation network are trained jointly using synthetic annotations in a multi-round training scenario, in which weights of the interaction network and the propagation network are adjusted after multiple synthetic annotations are processed, resulting in a trained object segmentation system that can reliably generate realistic object masks.
