  • Publication number: 20240315475
Abstract: A carpet pad includes a top hook layer and a bottom anti-slip layer. An upper surface of the hook layer is provided with protruding monofilaments in a bent shape. Top ends of the protruding monofilaments are provided with bumps formed by melting/softening and then cooling the protruding monofilaments. The protruding monofilaments on the hook layer are heat-treated to make their top ends melted/softened into the small bumps. The heat-treated protruding monofilaments have a certain degree of curvature and inclination, and thus can firmly hook with various carpets above and provide a large friction force, in particular in a vertical direction. The length and density of the protruding monofilaments are reasonably designed to make the protruding monofilaments well hook and lock with the carpet above. In addition, the protruding monofilaments touch soft, and the bumps are not prickly.

  • Publication number: 20240314484
Abstract: Techniques and apparatuses are described that implement a hearable with on-head detection using a single optical sensor. The hearable determines on-head detection based on a distance measured by the single optical sensor being less than a distance limit associated with on-head detection. A shape of the hearable's housing causes the hearable to have at least one orientation while at static equilibrium on a flat surface. This orientation causes the flat surface to be within the field-of-view of the optical sensor and causes a distance between the flat surface and the optical sensor to be greater than the distance limit associated with on-head detection. In this way, false positives associated with on-head detection can be mitigated without adding additional sensors (e.g., another infrared sensor, another proximity sensor, or a motion sensor) and without utilizing more complex optical sensors that determine additional information about the object, such as material composition.

  • Publication number: 20240313636
Abstract: The present invention provides a built-in ripple injection circuit and a control chip, in which a divided feedback voltage is obtained by division of an output voltage by a feedback circuit, and high-frequency ripple in the output voltage is obtained by an operational amplifier and a first capacitor. Moreover, the high-frequency ripple is injected at a third terminal of a source follower. As a result, the feedback voltage is a superimposition of the divided feedback voltage with the high-frequency ripple. This can enhance stability and interference resilience of a power supply system operating in a ripple-based COT control mode. Further, the built-in ripple circuit can be integrated in the control chip. This dispenses with the use of a large capacitor and satisfactorily addresses applications requiring on-chip integration of the feedback circuit, reducing the cost of the power supply system.

Abstract: System and techniques for capability discovery in an information centric network (ICN) are described herein. An ICN node receives a discovery packet that includes a discovery type corresponding to an indication of a node capability requested by a source node of the discovery packet. First capability data, from an intermediate node, is extracted from the discovery packet. The first capability data is stored locally by ICN node. Second capability data from the ICN node is added to the discovery packet to create an expanded discovery packet. The expanded discovery packet is then communicated by the ICN node.
